Autobot Bludgeon??

 

Drift and Stormshot look very nice. Hopefully we will get a properly decoed Decpeticon Bludgeon.

 

RID15 is getting crazy. Some of these designs are cool, but it looks like some of these molds are suffering greatly for the Combiner gimmick.

 

does anyone notice that bludgeon has an autobot insignia as his QR code instead of a con one? does this mean that Bludgeon, the skull faced robot samurai is now an autobot? why?! 

 

I am going to hold out hope that that's deliberate, and a Decepticon recolor in proper green-and-orange is down the line.

 

Dang it... i was expecting they continued the CW-styled scramble city figures.

Then i end up looking at scout-sized energon-styled combiners minus the energon stars and articulation that make the actual energon figures look like they have more articulation in comparison, Minicon-triggered Stealth Force figures, and two deluxes that happen to be a retool of Megatronus as "Autobot Bludgeon?" and Stormshot, which looks like a decent figure.

 

So Bludgeon\'s an Autobot (cool), there\'s a new Autobot flyer, and Skyhammer is the combined form of a vehicon and a(n) WFC/FOC seeker.

Also, when I saw the front page, I had a fanboy moment and shouted \"BLUDGEON!\" only to recoil and see the Autobot insignia.
Again, no complaints from me about Autobot Bludgeon.

 

It\'s weird that they\'re doing a G1 redeco of Warrior Drift but not using the mold\'s G1 head retool Takara have previously used.

 

I really hate to sound like a Negative Nancy but does anyone else feel like RiD should have been like this the whole time? I have a few of the toys and I feel like it's always had its charms, but the Mini-Con stuff and these new combiners are friggin' awesome and it might have done a lot to help people get past RiD's art style and appreciate it a little more for what it is. I'm gonna be picking up a few of these combiner fellas, and I feel oddly excited about RiD in a way I haven't since it started.

 

Pfffttt... that's nothing compared to the fact they made a freaking bludgeon retool of megatronus and made him an autobot.

I have a hunch he won't be called Bludgeon. Seriously, who ever in hasbro thought of this?

 

Okay so Bludgeon is an Autobot? Eh, I'll probably get him. I like the mold enough.

And I usually don't get straight up repaints that are just a character in different colors but that Drift is an exception. Like the Grimlock before, the fact that he is an G1 colors makes him a buy.

Sadly I will never see these two like the Windblade & Bisk waves, not in stores, and not online.

 

So... Combiner Force eh?  Wheres our Chop Shop?  Also Bludgeon being an Autobot is strange....

Really digging some of these designs.  Combiner force seems interesting too.  It\'s a lot like those G1 two vehicle ones.  And I love what seems like an automorph gimmick to the combining.
That bludgeon is awesome, I wonder if he\'s going to have back story connected to Drift.  I kind of hope they find a place to release the Takara Drift new mold head for a younger version if that\'s the case.

 

Wow.. Stormshot was a character I created 20 years ago on the 2k5 MUSH... I always hung around with Matt Sharp (Matt Karpowich aka Monzo). I use the KO goldish orangish Sunstorm-ish Classics Seeker to represent him.

Thundershot isn't really related... at least in this medium..

 

That Bludgeon looks cool. To people upset he's an Autobot, not everything is the same in this series as G1, such as Grimlock originally being a Decepticon (and also being green). Bludgeon still looks kinda "dark", so perhaps he's either a Con turned Bot (I hope they don't do this, we already kinda have Grimlock for that), or will become a Decepticon at some point.  

 

Nobody's upset about Bludgeon. Some people are just confused.

 

Stormshot looks neat. Bludgeon's... Okay... Not too keen on the blue. Wonder if he is indeed an Autobot or if they put the wrong sticker on him...
Looks like Stormshot's the only one I'll probably be getting!

 

Autobot Bludgeon? That's odd. Don't much like the blue and green. Love both colours, but they don't go together. Still, I look forwards to seeing him in the show. I am gonna buy the shit out of Stormshot. That's one awesome looking new Autobot jet. Also, that G1 repaint of Drift actually looks better than the Takara version.

At first I didn't notice that the Combiners components had individual robots. I'm surprised to see they do, although I'm incredibly disappointed that they don't have much articulation. Still, it could be cool seeing these things in the show, so that's something, I guess.
