Barber & Ossio’s Revolutionaries Expands the IDW/Hasbro Universe

It looks like Avengers or Justice League of IDW. Might be interesting. I'll definitely give it a go!  

And I really, really want an animated series of this!

Every revolution has revolutionaries. But I admit it is a very interesting idea.

 

who's the black and purple guy with the autobot logo?

 

Our first look at Onyx Prime perhaps and he actually isn't the bad Galvatron claimed him to be?

Or it could be Blackrock/Sovereign.

 

I think the purple guy is supposed to be Blackrock's robot form. He sounds like he'll be similar to a Masterforce style Pretender.

This looks extremely fun. That Adventure Team vs. Soundwave flashback story is exactly what I want to see.

 

I'd give a benefit of doubt to anyone who's declared a bad guy by someone like Galvatron... But I believe it's Blackrock. Similar colors with Alpha Trion.

 

Blackrock/Sovereign looks like a Deception, but he has a Autobot insignia on his chest.

 

Yup, I also find the idea of these throwbacks to the past comics interesting. Just yeasterday, I looked up some information on the old G.I. Joe comics on Wikipedia and 'Sgt. Savage and His Screaming Eagles' came up. And here he is, right in the interview.

I also look forward to that mentor-student dynamic for Kup and Ian Noble they were hinting at in the interview.

 

The insiginia was established as been used by previous groups in Cybertron's history including Sentinel's security forces.

I hadn't been planning to read any of the non-TF books after Revolution but this actually sounds pretty cool.

I'm glad they're doing something like this to keep the whole shared-universe tied together. It leaves the door open for crossovers with the other books' casts without the need to interrupt their ongoing stories and such, which was a (since quashed) fear of mine when Revolution was first announced.

 

Am i the only one who hasn't been liking the proportions of robots in revolution cause so far optimus prime looks so strange heck he looks way too beefy than he should be just the art style for the transformers doesn't work nor look good.

 

So does M.A.S.K. not have a representative in the team?

 

Easy skip for me, and I am all in for Titans Return, Revolution, and Till All Are One.
