That's an articulated figure, not a statue.

I like the optional leg kibble.

Something just isn't right about the proportions. Maybe the torso is too small?

    Those grenades are inspired, though.

Masterpiece might finally have competition. Well, licensed competition. The problem will be the price.

And the fact they don't transform. It doesn't bother me personally if the figures are done well enough, but I know that's a deal-breaker for most.

Very anime super robot, they are.

I dig it. Plenty of "normal" G1 Primes out there.

Sorry, that design is pretty hideous to me:: looks stylized just to be stylize (but not "cool" stylized to me), chest is super weird (and I love 3As robots - my boss has a huge collection of the Ashley Wood RVZ ones)

Yeah, the proportions are whack - Forearms too skinny, torso to small, shoulders are huge, fists tiny, crotch too wide, lower legs oddly bulky, feet are GINORMOUS... It almost looks to me like every part was designed by someone different then they jammed them all together.

But I think the biggest thing that makes me eye go twitchy is the deformed cab Windows... It just invites questions that don't need to be asked. even Bayformers tend to keep the Windows the right shape.

Head sculpt and paint is really nice, and I like all the LED action and the editable kibble is inspired.

Urgh, that's just awful. I don't mind if a good looking figure doesn't transform, if it's got decent articulation it's fine. But that... don't know what they were thinking with that chest! Definitely not for me.

Wow. Not at all what I was expecting this line to look like. Looks cool but I'm not gonna be totally disappointed if I miss out on these guys.

Proportions are off, even for a stylized figure. Pelvis is too large relative to the torso, makes it looks like a huge robotic diaper... Feet too flat for their length....

Looks cool and while I love 3A's movieverse subline of figures (just got their DOTM Optimus in hand this week), I'm not sure if this type of G1 stylized non-transforming action figures are right up my alley. At least with Bayverse, it makes some sense with the overly intricate looking bot designs not transforming. Kinda wish 3A kept going with their DOTM oferrings instead, to be honest.

Although a huge fan for the movie figures, I'm sorry to say that this will not likely to sell well. Hopefully they'll continue the movie line eventually.

I have 2 issues with this figure even before analyzing the figure itself, lol.
1, This will probably be expensive, but I can overcome to certain extend.
2, At 16" tall, forget it, not for me! I don't have that kind of space.

Good grief, don't these makers ever think about people space? I'm already regretting for not obtaining Utimetal UM due to his huge size at 17-18"....okay the 1K price tag too. So another 16" figure? Pass, that mean I can forget their repaint white Magnus version too.

Ultimetal meets Hot Toys = an expensive Optimus that doesn't transform.

    I like it.

But I'm almost certainly not doing it for cost and space reasons.

Also, my wife would kill me, I only barely talked her into the DOTM ones. (I guess that could be cross referenced with cost reasons)

I am surprised these are slightly smaller than the DOTM ones. If I was actually getting him it would be nice to have the option of displaying him next to my DOTM Prime. The height difference discourages that.

Have they ever said who all they're doing? I forget. With DOTM we knew all 4 characters long before anything was actually shown.

I'll keep an eye out for price, but I can't imagine these will be affordable enough to do.

DOTM Prime and Bee weren't, but they were so worth it!
