How bout an actual toon accurate release time around?

 

Is it just me or is that a fair bit cheaper than usual? USD$150? Obviously shipping as well but I think the Coneheads were more than that?
Might have seen the upcoming seeker KO's and decided to try and cut them off.
Still too expensive for me though. KO is substantially cheaper and features mould improvements.

 

Looks great, but I also hope there'll be a Hasbro Asia version which is easier to order. I already have the MP-6 version, so my need for this is slightly less... although I have yet to own any of the MP-11 mold style Seekers!

IMO MP-11SW doesn't need any mould improvements. He's rock-solid with a smart colour scheme and is the best of the MP-11 based figures by far. Glad to see he's getting a much needed re-release for those who missed out.

 

OMG! I am about to lose my shit, I have been dying for a Japanese release of MP11 Skywarp as I couldn't buy him in AUS with the previous release. I will accept him in any way but I would love a version without the little add paint add ons.

 

Maybe, the original was a Hasbro Asia release there was no official Takara japan release. That's when all the insanity started ,I want to say the original run was like $230 and they did a 2nd run and it dropped to $220. By the time I got mines off Ebay i got him for $170 and then like a month later he jumps to $400.

This is nice to see. I like my MP-11SW release, but don't like that it was so limited (and so pricey, lol. Ouch)

 

Just for clarification, it's limited to 2,000.

It makes no mention that there will be an Asia release like a lot of the other listings.

This is the first time this figure has been available in Japan, the previous release (almost 2 years ago) was CHINA ONLY.

The promotional images are the same as they were for the China release.

So what must one stateside do to purchase from Takara Tomy Mall?

 

Go through an intermediary like Tenso.

They don't have my country on the list, I sent them an email... I will be so incredibly pissed if I don't manage to order it.

 

Takara Tomy Mall only ships out to Japanese addresses.

So, you need to set up a 'proxy' Japanese mail address with a remailer service like Tenso. They will provide your 'Japanese address' to which TTM will ship out the package. Once your re-mailer service has received your package for you, they will re-mail the package to your actual address.

Of course, this all will cost you:
- Original shipping costs from TTM to Tenso
- International shipping costs from Tenso to you
- A service fee, often a base rate and/or based on a percentage of item value.

And it might of course set you back some import duties if the import value is high enough.

 

So you're saying I might as well play the new scalper price   Yikes! How much do you think all that would cost?

 

Actually, although I do have a Tenso account, I haven't used it due to the costs... So all the info I've given you is based on theory, not on practice   I'm pretty sure other people on these boards will know what total additional costs will be, though.
