One each of Hound and Wheeljack, two each of Smokescreen and Trailcutter/breaker.

Just noticed that I failed to type the thread title in anything remotely like English, if someone would be kind enough to edit it, ot would be most appreciated. :)

    Cheers,
    Doug

Nice one. None in the shops I've been around this afternoon in South London but this shows we will get them. And the price is a quid cheaper than Sainsburys and TRU are trying charge for Deluxes.

No Combaticons? It looks like we've only got one CW 'Con Deluxe around here - minus the rest of his team. Combiner Wars in the UK? Ain't happening.

It's weird - here in Germany, you can find the Deluxe Combaticons with relative ease, while Voyager Onslaught and Scattorshot are as rare as a unicorn, and the Legends wave with Shockwave is still a no-show.

Meanwhile, in the UK, you guys apparently got the Legends and the Voyagers in larger numbers but completely missed out on the Deluxes? WTF.

In all fairness, the MAJORITY of the stuff "out in USA" doesn't actually reach most of the USA. We're talking CA, TX, some east coast States, maybe.... but there are a whole bunch of States here that get lousy distribution. We're talking bare Wal-mart pegs for weeks/months.

When you see a new figure in stores here, most of the time it's a once or twice miracle - the majority of the time you will get stuck with whatever shelf-warmer wave gets picked for that season (Autobot CW deluxes). It may appear sunny in the USA, but the reality is that when you visit a store here, you need a healthy dose of pre-disappointment, as you're incredibly unlikely to find something new or interesting. It's gotten so bad these last few years as to completely suck the joy out of local hunting entirely.

It's a big f*cking mess, no matter what part of the planet you're on (save for maybe some Asian countries that just benefit from being neighbors with the factories). At this point, if you're not web-purchasing, you're really not a serious TF collector. And even there, we get shortages of exclusives like Quickslinger and Brake-neck (we're looking at an impending pre-order or get screwed system, a la Gamestop).

I'd like to see someone get fired or replaced (at Hasbro HQ). Hasbro is f*cking up their sales and blaming it all on a lack of movie. :banghead:  But then again, all of this could be the real-time collapse of the boy-toy industry in general, and we're looking at the slow, but sure, demise of TFs in stores. It certainly doesn't bode well when stores don't seem too concerned with WHICH TFs they get, as long as they get something? (seems like, in the past, stores were more demanding about getting the new/current stock regularly)

So they sold Onslight but skipped over the other combaticons.... typical Hasbro UK.

I'm really not too fused I've basically stopped buying the normal retail items but I'd like to be surprised just once.

It looks like the all mighty "video game toy" market that was supposed to "destroy" traditional toys reached it peak already as well, with Disney backing out of it you know that they aren't forecasting good returns. I see Lego Dimensions at half price around stores now, especially Best Buys. I see Skylanders falling off pegs they're so full.

Well, I knew there was a reason I was looking at just buying Takara from this point onwards (with the exceptions of Chromedome and Rewind)

Oh cool, all I'm really after from this Wave is Hound (and Sky Lynx if the Voyagers show up, maaaybe Smokescreen), but would be pretty sweet to pick up a TF I actually want at retail again.

I don't know why Hasbro can't just sell stuff through their European website, and at least make stuff available without all the import bs. They really don't deserve loyal customers.

So we didn't get the Stunticon limb wave or the Combaticons and we didn't get Devastator here either. In fact from the actual combiners we got Drag Strip, Motormaster and Onslaught versus all of the Autobots from waves 1, 3, 4 & 6. Some war!

Actually my local Forbidden Planet (Bristol) had the Combaticons and has had these for a while. Still a great shame that general distribution is so poor though.

FP & other comic shops/specialists don't count as a UK release, they import stock.

Needs to be TRU, Smyths, Argos, or a Supermarket. Eeek, that's a depressingly small list of places you can get toy in UK now

Oh please. You can at least order stuff from multiple online shops. Sale here, sale there, free shipping over 75 USD. Just for fun try to put some TF items and check how much would it cost to ship outside US. Don't forget to add 20% on top from the total (items+shipping. Yes, we pay tax from shipping fees too), the "processing fee" by customs, the wait and the paperwork once the package arrives t the destination. As stupid as it sounds, I also get to pay an absurd fee for paying the import tax.

Still not happy with the possibilities in the US?

I wouldn't say it's that bad for Toy-to-Life. For one thing, Disney is still in the game with new figures coming (coinciding with movie releases), so not sure where you heard they were backing out... The Lego sets may be failing... OR they were overproduced and overpriced, making discounts easier for Lego's (as typical with the Lego toys). I could see the Lego toy-to-life failing, though, as I see exactly the same as you in stores.
Skylanders? I'm not sure about. They sell a ton of those. When you see a bunch on shelves, I'm certain it's because they sell so many and are relatively cheap to restock (or at least profitable enough to overstock).

Does anyone play that TF app that's getting pushed on the current toys? Remember all those stupid, scan-able stickers? I think Hasbro should stop pussyfooting and release an actual Toy-to-Life set: it's the ideal solution to bring some young boys back into the fold.
Well, hold on one sec! :D  I was only commenting on LOCAL sales! :)  I didn't really say much about online shopping. But yeah, thanks for the explanation on the sucky extra costs, cause, no, I don't typically deal with that same level of bullsh*t as you guys! :(

But let me cut to the quick: don't be envious. If it's that much of a b*tch to buy TFs, I would have quit the hobby long ago. I'd rather stop going out of my way to give Hasbro money if they make it that hard for me. If it's still worth the effort, you should really be emailing/writing Hasbro corporation (or Europe division?) with this stuff (not commenting about it here). Honestly, most politicians don't have a clue what their constituents want/need, so how do you expect a multi-billion dollar company like Hasbro to know?

These boards are hardly important enough to Hasbro to really change anything, and back before the internets was invented, there was an old trick: pen, paper, and a stamp. Enough of those get sent, and MAYBE something changes. Vent that frustrated energy in a more productive way, I say. I'm rootin' for my European bro's! :thumb

...it's random stuff. Here in Italy I found wave 1, nothing, then deluxe combaticons with HotSpot and Silverbolt... Luckily enough we got Shockwave's wave. No leaders at all.

But... deluxe are 35$ or something like that. 20 for a legend. So...no thanks.
