Oh no....the silver leg paint vanishes once again, this time for good it seems, leaving that nasty grey in it's wake.
On the bright side, general sculpt looks good, and it doesn't have the Energon-like colours from the Titans Return commercial.

I don't mind the grey legs, but that grey face looks pretty bad.

I'm liking this. The proportions (awkward face aside) look pretty good.

The toy looks like shit in these photos.

That aside, I have a few questions about the packaging. So does Galvatron transform into a car and a jet? Because that's what it seems to indicate in the top left. Also, apparently this isn't Galvatron. This is Nucleon & Galvatron. Not Galvatron w/ Nucleon or Galvatron & Nucleon, but Nucleon & Galvatron. Seems pretty weird that the main guy's name comes second.

But what do I care. I not going to be buying any of this Titans Return garbage.

I agree. I think overall, he looks great. I am, however, hoping some third party people are designing regular, non-headmaster heads for some of these. I definitely like the Hasbro purple more than Takara's.

They used up all of the silver paint on Combiner Wars Megatron at the factory.

How tall is this figure? Probably to short to stand in with mp seekers? Maybe cw Cyclones height?

The gray face does disappoint but that'll be and easy fix. I do fear that there's going to no way to keep the head from looking off on any TR figure with a helmet that "fits" over the Titanmaster.

I have to admit, I wish that Nucleon's....legs(?) were painted purple to match the "mask". I'm not sure why I just noticed now, but when Galvatron's head is turned, it's pretty jarring.

Then why are you posting in threads about toys you don't plan to buy?

Face looks okay to me, not the best but cetainly not the worst face i have seen.

The arm cannon being grey looks great as well, much better than the huge purple block on his arm we saw before.

So are the headmasters the same size or are the voyager ones bigger? Because that head looks too small for the body.

That does look dissapointing. I'm rather baffled because the sample they had at Botcon had most if not all the grey plastic painted and it looked beautiful. I really hope this isn't the finalized version because what I saw at Botcon left a very strong and favorable impression on me.

Heads are all the same size. Larger figures have helmets that go over them

Chances are I'll get both this and the TT version, one of the only times I plan to double dip on Titans. Mold looks good overall, and it appears to be a better toy period than the okay-but-not-great Universe Galvy.

First of all, I really like that this Galvatron is PURPLE and NOT Lavendar. I like this mold for the most part, though I have yet to fully accept him as a shoe-horned HeadMaster.

And yes, that semi-translucent, cheap-o Hasbro gray is ugly and disappointing, but I'm not shocked that the silver would be dropped to save a nickle's worth of silver face & thigh paint. Typical Hasbro, sheesh!

Overall, he's a pretty good G1-like Galvatron, and I do want him. I even prefer him over Takara's pale pastel-fiesta, but their mini-Megs/Nucleon Titan does looks better. At any rate, he's a much better Galvatron than the awkward & unfortunate CHUG mold, but that bare, cold, gray face has an appointment with a silver Sharpie immediately upon un-boxing. :D

That robot mode photo is write up worthy.

The head looks pretty bad from that angle. Should be a good angle for 3P upgrades if the figures seem worth the trouble.
