Wonder if we'll then see a preview of the series at Toy Fair soon if this is the case?

 

Can't see that being the case if they just finished the WRITING.

Probably will be nothing before SDCC.

 

Can't wait to see this in its completion.

At this rate the Combiner Wars show will be ready to watch after the Titans lines end.

 

Just because they only just finished writing the whole series doesn't mean that production for the earlier episodes isn't already in progress.

 

At this stage i'm just hoping i'll be able to watch this on cable, cause this smells like some netflix exclusive kind of thing. A TF show for teens and adults ? I doubt Hasbro will push this in non anglo-saxon markets. But very exited anyway. This could be a great show.

 

While I'm looking forward to this, I wonder how come the Combiner Wars series isn't even finished while Combiner Wars basically is over.

 

Well to be fair we're still getting Combiners in gift sets this year so in that regard it's not really over yet.

I mean, I want it to be good, but the whole thing is going to be 70 minutes long.
Why has it taken so long to finish?

 

Turnaround on this series, I figure, is gonna still be around a year. Even if it's only 70 minutes they still need to build/rig all the assets.

And it was probably a late-in-the-game decision last year.

 

Does the inclusion of that 3P Judge (on the shelf in the background) indicate that Hasbro is officially tolerant of their employees/contractors supporting debatable intellectual property theft?   Or has 3P collecting become synonymous with TF collecting?

Why not do a new Animated series to go with the Animated toys, while they're at it?  

 

Yeah. I'm excited for this but maybe they should have held off announcing it when it was closer to completion. Announcing things too far in advance runs the risk of building disappointment and frustration.

 

It blows my mind just how late this is.

They should have got this cracking when Combiner Wars was in the development stages.

Yeah, it does seem odd that they didn't do it for whatever follows titans return in terms of linking up with current merchandise. To me it doesn't bode well for the series having a long life span.

 

Plus they have the molds they can rerelease them or remold and improve them for all we know to go with the release of the show. Probably.only.a few sets but still with new "cartoon accurate decos" & whatnot to sell them  

I don't think we really know how long it will be. Things change mid production and it really depends. If you have solid proof this is STILL their decision I'm willing to listen  

They just might. Or at least use those toys/characters. My guess is its all the same universe

 

Nope. No proof. Just a vague recollection and I can't even find the link where I think that vague recollection grew.
