Seems like there are official sticker sheets spotted in TWaiwan. These photos are taken from news shared on Facebook. Time to be on the hunt for them.

Usually if Taiwan gets them, then pretty soon they should appear on the radar in asia countries soon. Just like previously the sticker sheet for CW Menasor and Superion.

My guess is these are produced by Hasbro Asia.

Well, as much as these stickers actually looks cool, I'll prefer the UW version to be tampo-ed instead.

I don't understand why the rest of the world couldn't have this as well. Instead we have to shell out more money and buy a sticker sheet from a third party.

count me out. i'm still waiting on the takara version.. but i have no interest in adding any stickers to it.

i think the stickers helped metroplex.. but they don't do much for me with this devastator.

so the US consumer is screwed again?

less paint apps, less articulation, then region-specific sticker sheets. this is similar to the posing stands that were available for AoE but saw absolutely no release in the US.

thumbs all the way down, Hasbro.

I think it's kinda BS that Hasbro cannot give us a damn sticker sheet in the states.

We also don't have this stickers even if were from Asia/Philippines. I paid 160$ for devastator at least they could've have added this stickers inside the box. Was it really too much to ask for hasbro?

Meh. They're a bit too ... there. I mean reprolabels' are more subtle and probably made better. Plus reprolabels includes those hubcap stickers.

I'm totally mystified as to why the hell Hasbro wouldn't sell this to us separately if they wouldn't put it in the box to begin with. They're stickers, and they aren't expensive at all to produce once you get past the initial setup charge at the printer. Hell, make it a mail away thing, like the olden days. I'm pretty pissed that I'm going to have to pay through the nose for either this or the Reprolabels set.

    I think it's a cultural thing.

Just to use a frame of reference: compare the two toylines of Transformers: Prime, and Transformers: Arms Micron.

The latter, obviously, is the one Takara made and as we all know, those figures came with stickers and mini model kits for mini cons/microns that replaced the stock weapons. Why Takara took that angle is because model kit building and customizing is absolutely freakin' huge in Japan - even Bandai (the ones behind all the Gundam kits) is currently running with a flagship Gundam cartoon...literally about kids buying and assembling the model kits. In its second season no less.

So, in Takara's part of the world market, the inclusion of stickers and other "DIY assembly" stuff fits right in with popular trends in the target market of kids and adult collectors.

As for Hasbro, well...aside from the pleasant surprises of stickers for Gen. Whirl and Roadbuster (though to be honest I'm still debating wether or not to get the latter's Reprolabels or bite the bullet and use the included ones. I like Reprolabels better except for the shiny bronze finish that doesn't work on the orange plastic in the slightest in my opinion), the western market tends to be more lazy in that regard. When western market kids buy and open a toy, they more often than not don't want to spend time having to put the finishing touches on their action figure in order to actually play with it, they want to just dive right into smashing it against their other action figures right out of the box. While Hasbro has been slowly pushing more "model kit" esque product like the RID disc mini cons with the DIY armors, and moreso the MLP "Pop" collection which includes entire building kits, it's not going to overtake their main lines as it's easier just to put what little paint toys even get these days as the deco instead of having to manufacture stickers.

Add me to the list of those that would love to get their hands on this set.

Sounds like it will be even harder to get than the sets for the Aerialbots and Stunticons, though, but, I suppose you never know. Maybe RK will get a pile of them or something.

Your mixing up your cultures buddy, this set doesnt come out with the Japan release but with the chinese release. And the chinese culture, and south east asian culture as a whole, is as different from the Japanese culture as the states is to either of them.

    *sigh*

You can also count me in the group who thinks it would have been perfectly reasonable to include this in the standard release of Devastator from Hasbro.

Just keep being disappointed by them with the CW line, as much as I've enjoyed what we do have. It all could be so much better and is for some.

    Hey, that's cheating.
That after stickered photo? That sucker has been panel-lined too. Yeah it looks way better, but the sticker sheet alone will not achieve that.
