Went down for the media preview today. You're greeting by AOE Optimus Prime out front. The entire exhibit is very well done and has something from the adult all the way to the small child. Got a huge kick out of the Bumblebee simulation game. I'll have more pics to post but I had to get back to work. Thanks to everyone at the Children's Museum, especially Kimberly, and thanks to Ben from Hasbro for the conversation. Bummed I had to head back before talking with Pete Sinclair.

I'm kind of surprised to see a G1 Star Saber and a Lucky Draw figure in the displays, and some of the cases seem a little too sparse. Still I'll probably swing by and check it out sometime when I'm hanging in Indy. It should be kind of fun, and maybe some of the local fans can do a meetup or something.

Edit: I also love how RID Landfill gets called out for being a pain in the butt to transform and combine.

 

Wow. This actually looks really awesome! Stories like this make me realize why I love being a Transformers fan.

One of these is not like the other...and you'd be right no matter which one you picked.

Additionally, none of them appeared in this form in any cartoon since the late 80's...and Windblade isn't even in a cartoon!

 

I'm going tomorrow to check out the finished display.

We did include several Animated toys, so I'd imagine that whomever took the first pictures didn't take one of everything.

Between Pete, Tony Preto, and myself, we provided about 160 toys over all eras of Transforners.

 

This is really cool. I wish I had the chance to pop by Indianapolis.

A bunch of local fans are getting together on the 28th for this. Very much looking forward to meeting more local fans and collectors! (Up until a couple of years ago, I thoght I had to be the only fan in the whole city.)

now, Alternators Grimlock, fuck that thing! i transformed him once from alt-to-bot, and back again... it took over an hour. i never transformed ever again, and skipped Alternators Wheeljack because i knew i would never have transformed him either.


to this day he sits in my Alternators container with parts STILL not lining up right!

 

i find it somewhat curious that they used G1 prime for their big mural opposite Combiner Wars Megatron -- is this art from the Legends game?
