Just checked on the entertainer's (uk toystore) website and on the page for combiner wars it shows a promotional image of optimus maximus featuring combiner wars Sunstreaker as an arm ,showing that he is firstly a repaint of breakdown as suggested by many but also that he features a grey/silver fist to mimic his g1 intakes/engine.

Well there's also Mirage from Dragstrip(not that it wasn't obvious who he'd be a repaint of).

 

Nifty. Really too bad they didn't make Optimus another character like Thunderclash. But, y'know, Optimus sells.

 

Most likely will buy these Autobots just because I don't have any representations of them.Sideswipe will be required for Sunstreaker.

Looks like Drag Strip is there too. I haven't seen the toys yet but I know I'm passing on both. I have no interest in these combiner versions of already done Autobots.

 

Omega Prime? The toy is called Optimus Maximus, no?

 

Figured Sunstreaker would be in a way be retooled from Breakdown since they're both Lamborginies. Also Mirage seems to be a repaint of Dragstrip which works.

 

So with the Ironhide head seen in the Offroad sketches we just need confirmation of alt for Prowl now...but if all Stunticon retools homaging masquerade that only leaves Dead End???...

Considering Streetwise is a police version of Dead End, it wouldn't be a stretch to know where Prowl is likely coming from.

Edited to match, I'm going to be honest and say I paid zero attention to the name as I have zero interest in the torso bot. The limbs on the other hand I'm quite looking forward to.

Is Maxtimus a repaint of Optimus Prime or Hot Spot? I... actually can't tell from the picture.

EDIT: Never mind, spotted Prime's truck-front windows at the armpits of Optimus Maximus.

Wonder what combined mode will be called. Ultra Maximus?

 

Do we know which character becomes the torso yet? I'm assuming that Optimus Maximus is the combined form/name.

 

White Prime repaint/remold, apparently.

He even has the same head as the regular Prime figure - would be nice if he at least gets some mix n match parts from both Prime and Motormaster.  

 

Sooooo, basically every transformer can combine now?
Its nice and all but if every tf can combine now it kindoff takes away from the combiner teams being special IMO.
Am i alone in this?
