Congratulations! It's not like when DOTM hit a billion, but it's still an awesome achievement.

This is a surprise to me. I thought Guardians was going to be number one. Glad that shitstain wasn't.

    No surprise here indeed.

I was gonna expect The Hobbit gonna knock the movie from it's rank, but however I was disappointed with the most of the last movie. But luck would have it, we still have this movie.

Lol cute troll post. AOE is the shitstain compared to Guardians a thousand times over.

This is why I say this is a premature statement. Hobbit just came out, and it's the last Hobbit. I'm sure it'll crack a billion and has a very good chance of topping AOE.

Didn't see it. Have no plans to. The clips I've seen on YouTube have all been garbage. I have no idea how enough people could be entertained by this enough to spend $1.1 billion on it.

Who knows, it could happen in Early 2015 like the first Movie when it reached a billion back in 2013.

If only Desolation of Smaug followed it's predecessor early this year in terms of Billions.

Guardians of the Galaxy is the true winner. Bay pandered AoE to the Chinese audience, so in my book, the worldwide gross doesn't mean anything in this case. Go by the domestic earnings.

GOTG was a pretty bland movie, in my honest opinion.

Haven't bothered with it, either. I saw one clip of Galvatron transforming and immediately found myself wondering what kind of backwards-^$$ed Disney fairy tale I was watching. That was pretty much it for me.

I saw that too. He didn't transform. He was driving around, split apart into a billion pieces and then reformed as a robot. Total BS. I remember when they were talking about designing the robots in the first movie and how every robot part had to go somewhere when it changed into a vehicle. Clearly that line of detailed thinking was thrown out the window.

Yeah, when Michael Bay couldn't possibly destroy TRANSFORMERS even more, he did, by actually not having them Transform.

    They became freaking Kreo transformers.

I agree. I've still never seen AoE and I probably never will. I too saw clips on YouTube and wasn't really impressed with what I saw, I was even laughing at some of the dialog and characters.

By the way, the reason it made 1.1 billion isn't because it was a well made movie that people liked, it was because Bay pandered it to the Chinese audience, which is much bigger than America, (and they love movies with explosions) so "1.1 billion" really means very little.
