I've been dying to start this thread, bur first, some rules. Let's keep everything civil in this thread. Don't post any sh*t about how dance music sucks blah blah blah. We're discussing the MUSIC here. If you dont like the music, it's simple. Don't post.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On with the topic, what type of music do you love hearing in clubs? For me, anything that is not mainstream will do.

Also, I'm booked on New Years Eve at Club Cybertron! It'll be a 3 hour non-stop mega-mix of high NRG Happy Hardcore from 11PM - 1AM. OMFG, I'm so f*cking excited.

That reminds me, I should bump the metal thread. No offense to dance music. It's not my thing but I respect those who like it.

Favorite dance music is from kors k, Ryu☆, dj taka, Sota, and L.E.D. I'm not into the sh*t we have in America, it just has no feeling to it (to me anyways). I would love to go to beatnation summit live and watch them perform and do collaborations.

My favourite genres are Hardtechno, Brighton, Tribal Techno, Acid Techno, Acid House, Full On, Darkpsy, Early Hardcore, Darkcore, Industrial Hardcore, Frenchcore, Terror, Hardstep, Darkstep, Techstep, Breakcore, Glitch, Rhythmic Noise, Drum'n'Noise, Powernoise, 90s Trance and early 2000s Hardtrance, EBM, Futurepop, Synthipop, Electropunk, Chiptune and a lot more.

The world of electronic dance music is vast. :)

I would die without it. I need it like oxygen.

    Breakbeat Hardcore FTW!

Have you tried listening to Gabber? It's like Industrial Hardcore at 220 BPM. Burns your ear.

As I already said. Gabber is not a genre, which is a common misbelief. Gabber (-House) and Hardcore (-Techno) are one and the same today, but barely anyone says Gabber anymore. It's just Hardcore. Or Hakkuh :D

220bpm is slow. Listen to Splittercore. It's up to 500bpm :p  THAT is SICK :lol

I once played a track with 300bpm at a party which I bought just to shock the people. But sadly the speakers were not good enough and it sounded just like noise...

There's a genre called Extratone. That goes up to a 1000 BPM. That's Hardcore.

Then there's Happy Hardcore at 175 BPM. Best genre ever invented, I LOVE the ch00nage of the electronic keyboard in the drop.

I grew up basically with Happy Hardcore :)  I love when they play it on open air parties and the sun is shining, everybody is singing along and the people are raving their asses off to the beat while smiling. Even the biggest and baddest Mofo all of a sudden smiles like a child :D

This guy has the right idea.

Dance music is not my thing at all, and I respect those who like it. It's just not BROOTAL enough.

Happy Hardcore tracks these days are infused with Dubstep elements which spoils the track. Old Skool Hardcore's still the best.

I like a mixture of stuff, not just the hardcore stuff. I'm pretty shitty at recognising the names of musical genres but I'm pretty sure I like Happy Hardcore, Vocal Trance and House. I'm just started listening to Romanian House from the past few years, which seems to have a silly number of Spanish songs. WTF is up with that.

I'm also screwed because I hate clubs and raves, but I adore this type of music. I'm so weird :lol

Because our heart beats at 175 BPM. :D

I started off watching DJ Cotts mix hardcore and then I really got into the Hardcore scene. Happy Hardcore FTW! I do mix dubstep too but most of my time is spent mixing Hardcore.
