DSC01872 Toys 'R Us employee and 2005 Boards member soundwave86 has informed us that the Orland Park, Illinois store had received a case of the Toys 'R Us exclusive 6" Titanium War Within Grimlock and War Within Prowl figures. The release of these two figures marks the apparent end of the Transformers Titanium line. Start watching your local Toys 'R Us stores for these new figures!

Update: For those who need picture proof to believe, we now have a photo of the figures with receipt. Check out the image to the left.

Official Hasbro Transformers Titanium War Within Grimlock And Prowl Images

grimlock1 Hasbro.com has updated their news listings with images of 6" Titanium War Within Grimlock and Prowl.

These two figures, based off of TFW2005.com's very own DON (Don Figueroa) will be sold as exclusives from Toys R Us this coming fall.

Cancelled Titanium Bludgeon Revealed in TFW2005 Toy Database

blud2 Previously unrevealed until this database entry Titanium Bludgeon was scheduled for release in the 6 inch titanium line in 2008. The existence of this figure comes from a 2007 Hasbro document listing Transformers Titanium figures planned for release in 2008. Unfortunately this has been canceled along with the rest of the line.

These figures were found at a Target in southern California and can be found using the DPCI numbers on the price scanners. 3940746bb0663b7475 We reported several weeks ago that the Target toy department resets to occur this week would include the return of Titanium figures. Sightings have been rolling in this week on several sites and message boards, including our own. Sightings of previously unreleased (in mass) figures in the US so far at Target include Cheetor, Fallen, and Generation One Ultra Magnus. There has also been sightings of Cheetor and Fallen at several Meijer stores in Illinois. Transformers Titanium 6 Inch Figures to Return to Target Shelves?

3947146a4e2f97f1bc The latest information we have received about Transformers and Target says that Target stores will be performing their fall reset on the week of August 5th. The new arrangement will place Ultimate Bumblebee on an endcap, but another interesting item has shown up on the plans for the reset. The DPCI number for the 6" Transformers Titanium toys has shown up on the diagram with the label of "Transformers G1". 40597465c97d5ab53b Transformers.com has updated with official information and pictures regarding two TRU Exclusive two packs of Titanium figures. The first is a set of the 3 inch Generation 1 Optimus Prime and Bumblebee figures with metallic finishes, the second is the War Within Optimus Prime VS Megatron set, which also includes a reprint of War Within #5 with an all-new cover by Don Figueroa. 3947146548058df6bc Thanks to our own Pimpimus Prime for reporting in with a small Transformers Titanium surprise. It appears as though Toys R US stores will be selling a 3" Titanium 2-pack featuring Generation 1 Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. He says the only difference from the previously released versions of these figures is a metallic paint finish. This two pack retails for $10.99. To see the images and discuss this topic click here.
