EB Games is currently stocking Nintendo Wii controller faceplates for both the Wii-mote and Nunchuck. Seen in the thumbnail is the Optimus Prime kit. On the EB Games website, you can purchase a kit that contains 12 different designs for $12.99. See that listing Here.

Have mercy if reported already. Found this at EB today. Has faceplates for all Autobots. Always wanted to pimp out system, but hate those skins. Have a Decepticon as well, didn't get. Didn't see anything similar for PS3.

bugmenot:
How exactly do those connect? And does the Wiimote have a prevision for the battery cover?
transmetropolitan:
It's like a hard formed fitted case that snaps shut around both items. Cords are strung through openings. You have to take the Wii remote out to change batteries. Faceplates are put inside of polycarbonate case, followed by chuck or mote.

So there's no adhesive, good. How much do these run for, and will they be sold at Walmart?
EvaUnit13:
Probably only a GS/EB exclusive. How many designs are there? Are they like non adhesive skins that have a case to keep them in place?
ChldsPlay:
Was wondering when those were coming out. Any sign of the stylus set for the DS?
transmetropolitan:
It cost $12.99. It was a double bonus for me because I was looking into getting a protective case for my ONE mote. They have no glue, or sleeve to hold them in place. The buttons and directional controls, along with the sandwiching, holds them in place. There are 12 faceplates. 6 for mote, 6 for chuck. Vehicle and robot mode i.e. mote=robot Bumbs, chuck=vehicle Bumbs.

I'm pretty sure these are just a GS/EB thing, as mentioned above. The DS has a G1 kit like this $19.99(go to buy.com). I've also seen a movie DS kit that comes with earphones, stylus, car charger for $29.99.
EvaUnit13:
Is it for Lite or Phat, or both? Damn Ninty, forcing those who accesorize to buy just an upgrade...
ActionMasterZod:
Sweet, I hate those little things that slip on. It takes me so long to get those on. Good to see something other than those, might look for these next time I go over there.

The DS kits are only for lite.
Turbocharger:
Damn, good thing I just got a Wii. Time to head to the mall I suppose.

Good luck ordering online:

"The Wii PolyCarbonite Protection Kit comes in 2 styles: Autobots and Decepticons. Style will be chosen at random when shipped."

I'm still waiting for the cordless controllers...

Deceptigtar:
Ive seen these before. They also have skins for the xbox360 and interchangable faceplates for the 360. best bet is to hit an ebgames/gamestop. The fact they do random choosing when being shipped is the dumbest thing ever. Im sure they have lost lots of sales because of that.
Phoenix Prime:
~calls local EB Stores bugging them as they open
DX7879:
How comfortable are the controllers with the case on? My friend has a plastic one, and it seems hard to press the A, + and - buttons
iluvu_superion:
Am I missing something here? $12.99 for 12??? or $12.99 for 1...but there are 12 designs to choose from...On the website is for 12.....but on ur picture, I only see one...

That's just unnecessarily annoying, right there.
Icetron:
I'm going to check if they have these around here, thanks.
SPLIT LIP:
I saw the word Nunchuck and came running.

Though these look cool, I don't have the... *ahem*...game consol in question.
Lazerwave:
Goodie, I have a Wii. I'll keep my eye out for them.
Optimus-JD:
Wish I could use those. I saw them at Gamestop the week of July 2nd when everything came out. They would defeat my nyko battery packs though....*shiff* Oh well.

Getting them from Gamestop.com is annoying with it being random but you can order from the manufacturer at Coregamer.com. That is where I ordered my G1 Autobot faceplate for my 360 which I got in the mail today. I've known about the Wii-mote set since the 9th and I posted here. You can see all the G1 and movie items and order a few at the link below but a lot of the movie stuff is not up yet and the movie faceplates have a $5 markup.

Matrix Soul:
Hey, can you please take a picture of the wii-mote and nunchucks in the case?
transmetropolitan:
Here is a pic of them in the case. For the chuck and mote, there are two plastic pieces that snap around each one. It feels like dropping either might (1) crack the case or (2) break one of the junktures that holds the two pieces together. Basically, it doesn't feel very solid/durable. The case for the mote does add some thickness to the top surface. It's really not that big a nuisance, but it is a bitch to press the home button in the middle. I'm not familiar with the charging stations for the mote, but the bottom is very open, where you plug in chuck. It seems like it should sit on a dock, if thats where you charge them.
