I've just tried the demo. It plays very well. Controls need some getting used to but it's not hard. The tank-hammer attack seems a bit too powerful though. Transforming is very seemless!

I'm more looking forward to the story-co-op mode.

Just got done playing before I head to work. I could nitpick little things, but it was very fun so far. I actually seemed to be doing fairly well which was nice. I liked sniping with the Scouts and using the Soldier class and taking out guys in tank mode was nice.

I LIKE IT.

Just played 2 rounds of Deathmatch and speaking as someone whose not a FPS fan usually, it was a lot of fun.

I got fairly well stomped because 1) Don't usually play FPSs and 2) My two year old son was yelling at me the whole time. Can't play any more right now cause of needing to watch said son, but I'm looking forward to more as soon as I can.

Oh for anyone wondering, the two soldiers you can use are Megatron and Warpath and the scouts are Bumblebee and Breakdown or Barricade, though I'm not to sure on that as I never got to use them.

Its really good, not performing too well but that could be down to lack of sleep. Controls are taking some getting used too. And this map is maybe a little too dark. Love the incidental voiceovers though - "he's scrambled my brain" ha ha. can't wait for the full game! really looking forward to campaign mode.

Im glad i bought gold for a buck last week, now i can play this when i get home from work. Cant wait.

some times it feels as if your shooting at the enemy for ages and they shoot you and you die first . the whirlwing attack takes a while and isnt that instant where you can still die . love the scouts cloaking abilty. overall its a not to bad demo . cant wait for single player

I don't like the demo. Just another typical Activisiongame and probably only worth picking up as a budget title. And I won't even do that.

I was cloaking as a red bee model, and taking out decepticons with my sword. Awesome stuff, lots of love here! It feels like playing UNREAL TOURNAMENT for the first time or something...

I wonder if we will get to keep those leveled up stats to transfer over to the full game????

I have loved the demo I think I'm gonna play again today lol, and I've NEVER played online on anything else, but I think that may change, I didn't do so well but I did love playing

Eh...it's okay. I mean, it kinda feels like playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare, but RipCurl's right. I've shot lots of 'Cons and 'Bots like a madman, but you end up dying. Or maybe I just suck at it, who knows. Yeah, it definitely looks fun, but I'm not sure whether or not the full game will let you play as the faction you want...

Love it, the controls only seem weird at first simply because your thrown right into the middle of a battle so you don't really get a chance to learn them. Once you do, it is a great set up.

I find there is a great balance between the 2 classes and I can be effective with either (though I prefer the solider). I can't wait to try out the other 2 classes.

I was going to buy this game regardless, now I'm counting down the days.

The "shooting them alerts them to my presence, then they turn around and quickly kill me" experience is a common one of mine in FPSs. I think the problem is that the more experienced guys I'm up against (a) know which guns to use and how to find them and (b) they turn around and head-shot me while i'm aiming at center body-mass because that's where I'm more likely to hit them.

I can't wait to get home and give this a try. I'm a big shooter fan and play all the time online. We'll see how it holds up.

For what little the demo gives you it's is damn fun an addicting. Played for 3 hours. Controls do need some getting used to but after my 3rd match I got everything down-packed. Weapons are fun to use and using vehicle mode isn't pointless as you can get to a destination faster, jump across large gaps (You can jump in vehicle mode) and make a quick get away when needed.

You only have 2 classes for now. The scout (represented by Bumblebee and Breakdown) and the soldier (represented by Megatron and Warpath). Both have their strengths and weaknesses. The scout is fast and can cloak himself, but his health isn't very high. The soldier is powerful and well armored, but he's also a large target.

The map, Molten, is very open with two seudo-bases on each side. One Bot and one Con. (Picture a smaller version of Halo's "Blood Gulch" only on cybertron, in a ravine and in the rain). This works very well for Team Deathmatch, though it's tricky when playing Conquest.

So far so good. Its great fun once you get used to the controls. The bots don't feel heavy enough to me, and I don't understand what, if any, good the plasma cannon is. Being that this is a demo, I'm sure furthur tweaks and balences have been made, but enjoying it so far. One thing I've noticed, which seems, IDK, a weird decision, is that you don't regen health. That's kind of a standard shooter thing these days, and one would think bots would have shields. It makes for interesting strategy. Looking forward to the full game even more.

I'm going to need to get some practice in, went on earlier and though i could tell it would be simple to get into I just couldn't keep up with most of the guys on there atm. Story mode is going to be awesome, I just hope that with the full version you can take more than one person online through one console.

Does anybody feel like playing to much mw2 is counterproductive to playing this game well? I keep transforming on accident cuz I'm use to sprinting with that button.

Like what I've seen so far but still hard to get a feel for what weapons to use when

isn't transforming when you want to sprint a good thing? then you just have to boost. Also does anyone else feel like the plasma canon never hits? or is that my bad aim? Anyway love the demo and can't wait for the game the controls are good and so far everything feels balanced.

I have both systems but only play online with ps3. Does anyone have proof the demo is coming to ps3? Not trying to bust anyone's chops but this isn't a fair world. Whoever puts up the most money wins. :/

Played one game during lunch.

Controls take some getting use to (i.e. I need to stop throwing gernades at my teamates ) But it's a pretty solid game based on my 1 lost match. Still couldnt figure out to Zoom In, but maybe that was based on my weapon combo.

Heavy thumbing Transforming at the wrong times is going to get me killed....a lot.

Thankfully, somebody said in the other thread that you can change the control scheme to where Y transforms.

I just spent 45 minutes playing the game and I for one had no problems with the controls. I was able to be competetive right from the start. I also, had no problem with accidently transformering. I do understand however, that some people have heavy thumbs while playing and see where it can become a problem. Anyway, after about 10minutes of game time I was totally keen on the controls. It is a great game.

Cool game, used the whirlwind attack to take out 3 guys in a row.

Followed this up with a dash in vehicle mode using LT, then a small jump off the edge of a ramp, followed by a transformation, then instantly into hover mode, targeted a bot below and blamo . Best thing I'd ever managed to do in an online match eveeeer

It plays just like gears of war. Once I changed the control scheme I did much better. But I have been playing Call of Duty and RDR and I am getting slaughtered.

I can't even connect to XBL... OF ALL DAYS!!! It worked fine yesterday!!! I did a connection test and I can get to the internet but between the internet and XBL there is a problem. I'm normally on the PS3, but I'm using my brother's Xbox just for the demo. Is there anyone who has more experience with XBL that can help me?

Sniper is useless out of zoom, and moves much too slow whilst zoomed, compared to the movement of the enemy. Dislike the grenades due to the trail. I doubt non-TF fans will look further into this. Good game though

The game isn't bad, after you get used to the controls. I immediately got spawn-killed by a scout the first time in. Bastard. Transforming and shooting animations look cool. And what little I saw of Cybertron looks pretty good.

How do we change colors in game? I can't seem to figure it out.

I keep getting Time-out errors and "Your Connection to the host has been lost". I haven't even gotten to play yet.

It's not my xbox or connection; I bounced the router and signed in to play a few other games. Could the servers be jammed?
