DeNA is continuing its month long September to Remember campaign for its entertaining mobile card battle game TRANSFORMERS: LEGENDS that showcases a series of weekly episodes and new content added to the game. Today features the release of the in-game episode called S.O.S. Dinobots! This exciting episode runs through Tuesday, September 17, 2013.
Check out full details after the break, including some pretty awesome animated gifs of the card art!
The S.O.S. Dinobots! Storyline
This week on TRANSFORMERS: LEGENDS witness the primal power of the Dinobots versus the agile aerial Seekers.
In the aftermath of the clash between Megatron and Optimus Prime, the Autobots stand with their backs against the wall. With the power vacuum left behind by the clash between Megatron and Optimus Prime and with their hands full trying to protect the innocent humans, the Autobots are struggling to save themselves from disaster.
Without Optimus Prime’s leadership and strength in the battle’s ensuing chaos, Grimlock believes it’s time for him to step up. As he charges into the battle, the Decepticons feel a chill of fear when they hear echoing over the battlefield: “Me Grimlock king!”
The Dinobots’ limited intelligence but incredible strength make for an uncomfortable combination. Optimus Prime considered shutting down the unpredictable Dinobots in the past before they could do harm to themselves or anyone else, but a sudden and devastating Decepticon attack forced him to reconsider. In the following battle the Dinobots prove that they are of immense value for the Autobots. Now the Autobots must call upon the might of the Dinobots once more as only they can change the tide of their desperate battle.
The Decepticons fear the Dinobots for good reasons. Even the powerful Devastator could not stand against the ferocity and sheer stubbornness of the Dinobots.
Will the unpredictable Dinobots save the Autobots? Can the Dinobot’s tenacity bring down the Decepticons?

I wouldn't call it a guide, exactly, but this Wiki (and the forums attached to it) should help.
If you haven't already used a "Friend Invitation" code, may I suggest 75431729?
Exodus
I just got in on the last 2 days of this event, was able to get Swoop high card which is cool cause he's my favorite out of all the Dinobots. But yeah fun game overall, doing the pvp part…
ExtremeGz
just DL'd this game……confusing a little bit……is there a good guide on how to play this game?
nonoboy311
this game is completely lame. cant believe ppl are still paying $$$ to get virtual cards. i was hooked on this 24/7 for two mo, then realized it was all just a big scam
Thunderspidey
That's funny, because I have 4 Slug bot modes. Wish they'd introduce trading.
Optimus Prime
No kidding…I just cashed in 1200 of them on Slugs and got 3x Slug's alt. mode. This in addition to the alt. mode I got from a coin purchase. So now I have 4 totally useless Slug alt. modes.
Edit: a valiant effort and 400 more ruby medals later, and I finally got…
another Slug alt.
5 Slug alts and no robot modes. What are the friggin odds?! I wish trading was a feature in this game.

The Ruby Medals have NOT been in my favor….

So far as I've been able to tell, you get to enter exactly ONE code, ever.
This is the only game I've ever seen with that limitation.
Yes, it's stupid.

Congrats on the R5 Optimus, that's badass! I was only able to place tier 3 in One Shall Fall, and now I'm going to likely place teir 4 in this one (I've missed a couple of days on this one). I'm hoping that the Episode Specific cards I've managed to get will make a nice deck in the next episode though. I just need resources to finish maxing them out.
Shockwave MTM w/max megatron weapon
Starscream MTM w/max weapon
Sunstorm MTM w/max weapon
Jazz MTM w/max weapon
Slag (95% MTM) no character weapon
Sludge (1/2 MTM) no character weapon
Thundercracker (1/4 MTM, I've got all four cards though) w/max weapon
Bumblebee (no upgrades yet) w/max weapon
Swoop (no upgrades yet) w/max weapon
I'm interested to see what this next episode is going to look like…
SG hailstorm
ive already beaten the event, sunstorms a bitch to defeat if you don't use the right cards P= i ended up capturing him though so it panned out in my favor

I input someone's friend code from an early portion of this thread, and it won't let me enter any additional codes. This is the first time I've tried entering friend codes, but do any of you know if it resets after a certain period of time to allow you to enter additional codes, or is one code the limit?

This episode has been really slow. I burned up all my resources getting all the cards and now I will end up tier2. Only 3 parts of a Snarl card has me angry.
I did take Tier 1 in the One Shall Fall Event. Got the R5 Optimus!
mystic4407
I'm doing the same at this point. I managed to get really lucky with Slag and got the robot and alt modes on my first two attempts at him. There's no sense in wasting ruby medals on the weapons either since you earn those with points. I've got about 500 ruby medals right now, and while I don't think I'll reach 1500 before the episode is over, it would be awesome to put one of those Grimlock Cards in my deck. I'm currently just grinding away to earn money and transmetals to upgrade slag, sludge, and thundercracker before evolving, trans-scanning them. Sunstorm is MTM, and I nearly have Slag there now…
BTW, my code is 93932998 for anyone that is interested in adding me.

Having gone through this game…this has been one of the MOST successful games for me thus far.
With the addition of the daily login bonuses, I have received more Energon nets that allowed me to capture all of the cars for both Sunstorm AND Thundercracker while the rubies have allowed me to get Swoop, Slag and Sludge (both cards) and push my deck to over 18,000
Working on and hopefully going to capture Skywarp's cards and I am confident I will finish in the top 3,000 without spending ANY money

It's constantly sending requests to access the internet connection requiring some of the device's other resources. It's not the code itself that's the issue.
Inkwell
Okay, thanks! I hadn't realized.

Just keep playing that "easy" level over and over until you catch him that same way you've already done (by the way, you were given 2 of those cards just to start the game. The third is the only one you got when you "caught" him).
(My own friend invitation code is 75431729. I gather you can only enter one, though, so no hard feelings if you go with another)
shedbandit
Yeah I really don't get how it uses so much power, it displaying photos, a bit of video when you spacebridge, and then a random number generator, not exactly taxing process'.
Inkwell, I just replayed the mission to get the extra card. Took a couple of tries to get a successful net though.
Also add me…
