It's a media exclusive demo. A demonstration, rather than something for the public to download.

Someone sounds mad.

Yes but you screwed the pooch when you did not do a transformers Fall of Cybertron PC version nor made DLC for War for cybertron for PC users. Just another company with empty promises.

First of all, you chose the two most idiotic, G-1 based examples to illustrate that Transformers are implausible. Secondly, YES, I don't think cybertronians are that far-fetched a concept. Considering how many trillions upon trillions of stars and planets there are even in this galaxy alone, the idea that a life form such as them could exist isn't that strange. Not their G-1 versions which look like boxes, but such a being could exist.
However, do you ever think of how long 70 million years of war is? Even if you use your fruit fly analogy, it doesn't make sense when there's a war on for that long. If all of humankind was at war, your estimated 73-year lifespan would be cut to about 30 years, MAX.
Did you read my post? Cause that's exactly what I was saying! The interviewer was the one who implied that they only had alt modes for hiding on Earth.

You're looking for plausibility in a franchise famous for having a 50ft sentient robot turn into a handgun or a cassette recorder? REALLY? Also, transforming wasn't used just to disguise themselves on earth. Ever see the first episode of the G1 'toon? Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Seekers, etc all had vehicle modes in addition to their "humanoid" forms on Cybertron. Vehicle mode was for quick travel. As for the age thing… You realize, right now, on EARTH, there are lifeforms that are several thousands of years old, right? There are trees in california that are rumored to be as many as 11 thousand years old. Just coz your concept of life is so limited, doesn't mean it has to be that way everywhere else. Much of how we perceive time is based on the rotation of our planet and it's circling the sun. What if Cybertron rotates at a vastly different scale, and the concept of time changes accordingly?
Considering they [Hasbro] can't even agree on how the species continues itself, can't agree on how they sustain themselves (sure, now, it's energon, but do they eat it? pump it into fuel lines? etc), I'll give them a HUGE pass on how long a Cybertronian lives.
Well, compared to a fly whose lifespan is a week, your human life span of 73 to 100 years in insane. And like I said before, a tree that lives for 11 thousand years sees us as little more than a nuisance that is carving hearts into it's outer layers.
Also you forget that it's been long established that Transformers have spacial distortion technology. That's how they explain Megatron becoming a handgun. If they can distort space, they can easily bridge between earth and Cybertron. Heck, they've done it in the cartoons dozens of times, the most recent movie centered on that technology…. You really are surprised if they used it here?

I did not realize they did this DICE Summit from the place I work. I have no idea its happening here. lol

Well maybe if Cybertron was millions of light years away from Earth, when Shockwave looks at Earth to find Grimlock's alt mode, he sees the dinosaurs, since he is essentially seeing the past. Then they wouldn't have to set the game as far back as 70 million years.
I always thought that a timespan of tens or hundreds of thousands of years would be more than enough to make the bots seem old as hell without it seeming silly. Just something I've always thought, even when I was a little kid.
ORAORAORAORAAAAA!!! Always awesome to meet Jojo fans
MaxxieOD
I never had a hard time thinking of the bots being millions of years old…always thought they were. Shows you just how good they are at surviving. Hell, the species itself is over a billion years old if I remember right. Cybertronians aren't Earth lifeforms, so they're not going to follow our rules on longevity.
I'm not quite sure what you were getting at in the second part of your statement tho.
But I can agree with the thing under your username…MUDA DA!

The game looks amazing! Can't wait to play it.
One thing though…. Transformers 70 million years ago? Come ON. Even 4 million years seemed like a ridiculously long time. Why didn't they just explain that the light from Earth took millions of years to reach them, so when they looked at Earth they were seeing dinosaurs? That would have been way WAY more plausible than thinking that this war has been going on for 70 million fucking years and all the same characters are still alive.
Haha yeah that was stupid, especially since this game is obviously not set on Earth, so why the fuck would the sole reason they transform since millions of years ago to disguise themselves as Earth vehicles?

I swear allegiance to high moon studios for which it stands one franchise under primus. lol
These guys couldnt be bigger fans of doing this right THANK GOD there is one competant group of individuals handling the franchise.
Allthough hasbro is doing its best to screw up a decent combiner like bruticus with those flashy colors. Cant wait for FOC.
I do great G1 voice work if you guys need a better bruticus
WWMEGATRON
Jazz voice actor is awesome; true to it's G1 counterpart

"If Metroplex was a toy , how much would he cost?" Although, I think he actually was asking what Metroplex would cost if he were in scale with his game counterpart specifically. If he were 1/32 scale Tieg should have said like $3,000,000.

"I'm going to be the first person on the Internet to find a hole in transformer logic". Buddy you're about 20 years too late.

I made a comment about that in another thread, wondering if John DiMaggio is doing Jazz since he supposedly does a mean Scatman Crothers impersonation.
Sideswipe80
I agree, loved how the Dinobots are worked in. The guy doing Jazz seemed to be doing a good Scatman impersonation. I know the DS version did a good job. I wonder if it's the same guy.
Meggamus
Yea that was a bit annoying but it never realy bothered me but with bruticus, the Bridge was there one minuite and the next it was completely gone . I woulda like to see it crumble or have some physics act upon it
MaxxieOD
Jazz's level looks like fun…grappling hook not only pulls him around, but he can use it to pull stuff out of the way. Looks like it'll require some good time and such to get some of falls and shots right. Can't wait!
I like how Vortex works too…something I liked about the vehicle modes in WfC was changing between…I guess hovering and sprinting, it looked cool, and it's more obvious with Vortex.
I hope the customization goes well…I don't expect anything super crazy (not like, say, Champions Online), but sounds like there will still be a lot.
Bruticus is fraggin' huge…of course! Haha!
And I've heard it before, but I still like the story for being able to get the Dinobots in the game. Works well to me.

Really annoyed me when Trypticon swatted two of the Autobot jets out of the air, they exploded, and then walked up completely undamaged after the fight was over.
