Cool to see a bit more of campaign, and to see what happens right where the demo cuts off on Vortex's level. However I'm frustrated/disappointed with the lack of any Escalation being shown, considering that there are only 2 videos showing the new Escalation.

also looks like the Cheats option in the menu is a dev only thing, maybe.

Well I think for Chapter 9 you start off as Soundwave and then later on you switch to Megatron for the rest of the chapter i'm assuming. So who knew Optimus Prime get's two whole chapters to himself.

I'll get it when it's $20. Not worth the initial $60 asking price if you ask me. Chances are, that Amazon will put it on sale ($40-50ish) soon after release, as they did with War for Cybertron.

I can understand this reasoning if you didn't like the multiplayer, cause you can only play a campaign for so long, and unless it's a final fantasy style campaign (i.e. LOTS of hours worth) it's really not worth $60 to play 8-9 hours tops of story mode. I will be getting it regardless, even if my autobots and decepticons will all be the same color, since the color choices SUCK!

God yes. Everything about this game is looking amazing so far. Also, developer menu? That'd make for interesting BSing through a second or third campaign run.

I've been saying this since War for Cybertron. But atleast with that game there was some form of reasoning in the scientist's diguise ability. Unless it's in this game too. But if not, it really doesn't offer much, don't get me wronf I'm gonna promote the hell out of this game, just to see more, but it really bothers me that they say THOUSANDS of different options, when if you really think about it, yes the bots will be designed well, but they will all look the same, because a pink decepticon is just retarded. I know they can do better, and I know it was addressed in that game and people have brought it up already. You can't deny it would be cool to see people running around as G2 thundercracker seekers, or other characters that we can make that were not put into the game.

I think when I first start the game (Bumblebee's level) and when I get to Votex's level, I'm going to be saying, "Ugh, I gotta do this again? I've already played it 50 times!"

what does the switch character button mean. Can you switch a character like it said or switch optimus skin?

everytime they switched characters they did some funky thing where they backed out of campain, scrolled over multyplayer and escalation, and then went back. Interesting...

I also noticed they always went to the "cheats" menu.

If you pause the video at the end, you can see that Slag's name has been changed to Slug.

This is probably because a slag is the British equivalent of a whore, so there's no real reason to fanrage. It's as minute a change as Bomshell was to Hardshell.

No, unfortunately Slag is now Slug in the US as well. Also, can someone explain why Bombshell is now Hardshell?

im surprised, but i actually really enjoy these series of games. I've said many times, it's like the Halo series, except with Transformers

So after the achievements were released, the only chapters that most people weren't sure who we were going to play as were number 2,7 and 9.

7 is now clearly Swindle. But when they're on the chapters selection and they scroll fast to Grimlock, if you pause/play quickly you can see Optimus is number 2 and Megatron is number 9...Now Soundwave's gotta be playable ! So I'm pretty sure we get to start as him and then switch to Megatron at some point. For the same reason, I believe we will start chapter 2 as another Autobot (my money's on Jetfire) and then we'll switch to Optimus...or the other way around. Don't forget the achievement for chapter 2 says ''save two autobots when Optimus is downed''...if he's down then I guess that means we're playing as somebody else.

Bombshell's now Hardshell because Bombshell is either trademarked by another toy company or seen as inappropriate somehow. It's one of those two things, it always is. Same reason for Predicus and so on.

I think you're right on the money for the chracters you play on the chapters. Soundwave maybe at the start or Megatron might be from the start, but i think they would both team-up in order for Megatron to retake his position as Leader.
