Why do they need to keep showing off gameplay? They showed us alot of gameplay and you can play a demo.

Because the demo doesn't show you everything about the game. Showing off what your game offers in a launch trailer is sort of expected. I'm not buying a movie. On top of that its the same CGI we've seen before with dramatic music acting like its dramatic.
Also PC players got screwed out of the demo.

Why would you want the demo to show you everything about the game?
IF it did that.. why play it?
The demo shows what gameplay is like and things you can expect.. I wouldn't expect it to show you everything that the game has up it's sleeve..
Otherwise.. it's like a movie trailer to a comedy movie that shows all the funny parts in the trailer..
Rarely do you ever leave feeling satisfied when that occurs..

Not like that. More like showing off its different modes for multiplayer, some character customizing, some singleplayer, some escalation, and bridging it all together to show you the complete package the game offers.
Going full CGI makes you worry the game doesn't stand on its own merit. Its a common tactic in the industry.

It sucks you missed out on the demo but that shows off pretty well the customizing, some single player. No escalation, but we know it's there and if you played the first, I'd expect it to be the same if not better.
I'm quite ok with launch trailers being full CGI things to excite you for the upcoming game.
To each their own though.

It's from a mass effect tribute video someone did and used it. But it is not a mass effect song. Though that was the very first thing that popped in my mind as it sounds very much like an ME song.

FWIW (we all have opinions and yours is certainly valid, this is mine) I liked the music (though I liked it better in a different context I saw previously better) but I find transformers more interesting when there's more grit to it.
G1 is still fun, but the deeper story appeals to me who's 28 years older than when I first started watching the show.
I still appreciate the giant rainbow-colored robots fighting an imaginary war. But I can equally appreciate some attempt to add depth.

G1 is still fun, but the deeper story appeals to me who's 28 years older than when I first started watching the show.

That's nice, but I'm not talking about G1. Just because I don't like one extreme doesn't mean I want the complete oppositte. I'm thinking more like Animated or Beast Wars where is was fun and colourful but still serious with depth and emotion.
Everything today is so depressing and melodramatic.

I love the chances they take with music. Even though its the same cinematic we've seen before, the choice of music really pays off in this trailer. We all know the battle, and this war, I dont think Ive felt or emphasized with the notion of their pain of that war as well as this trailer conveyed.

meh. we had 20 years of corniness, (which I loved) and the last 5 years of movies full of hump jokes, masturbation and spitting transformers..
I think Im ready for a little grit in my coffee. Aside from the 1986 movie, I dont think transformers ever had a chance to be melodramatic. And judging from the gameplay, the melodrama seems to be kept to a minium. so really I dont see what the fuss is. If some of us get a few solemn trailers.. so be it, I enjoy them.

I like the music but it doesn't fit the game. The second trailer we saw had an awesome rock song. Why make a non-deep game deep ? Also, why doesn't any of the critics read the friggin' comics ? That's the Transformers we were waiting for, not watered down Dreamwave.

There are individual trailers for some of the other modes. A single trailer that shows off everything would either be too long for a trailer, or would showcase each mode for too short a time.
