Where was this?
I've been keeping up with news on the game, and didn't hear about this one. There are supposed to be plenty of characters in the movie, but it would be typical of the game adaptation to only include a small fraction of them.

Still though...I would find it very strange that they didn't include Sideswipe or the Twins for that matter. The game is coming soon, so we should have a final tally then.

yeah i find it hard to believe no sideswipe, twins, jetfire, soundwave, ravage, the fallen, most of the constructicons(although longhaul is by far the coolest looking one) and we get breakaway, a likely toy-only character who looks like a hunchback. and who is grindor?
edit* also i hope we can color swap characters for multiplayer.

I think Sideways is a strange 'Con choice as his toy bio and trailer action give the impression he is a coward/scaredy-con.

There has to be Blackout, because he's in the trailer so he can't be left out. I'm curious about what "Aerialbot" and "Protectobot" will be playable in MP, since they not from the movie. If I have to guess, I'd think Aerialbot is Silverbolt and Protectobot is Hot Shot. Anyway, with the game a little over a month away, I hope more info will be available soon. This list does make me want to preorder the game, however.

check out the battle for the allspark section on the official video game site... you'll get a good idea of what the protectobots and aerialbot drones look like. in fact the seeker seen here is just like the one in the battle for the allspark game.

I agree that there should be Sideswipe, esp. since they introduced characters who aren't even in the movie. Why skip Sideswipe and give us a "Protectobot" instead? I hope the final roster list will be released soon.

It's the lack of Skids and Mudflap that surprises me the most, especially given how much emphasis is being put on them in everything else related to the movie. They must be in there somewhere, be it unlockable or DLC but it seems odd.

I did not put down the game, fact is I will buy it no matter what, but if the list is set and those are the only playable characters, i think they might have dropped the ball, a good example is the old PS2 transformers G1 game, ever see the list of characters on that game? Here's a link;

My point is if they could do that with the PS2, they should be able to do the complete roster for the movie at least.
