Concept artist Jay Howse has shared some work which he did for Jagex on their Transformers Universe MOTA game. The artwork he has shared consists of a bevy of CGI pieces, covering a range of characters, from mainstays of the franchise like Ratchet, Prowl and Wheeljack, to additions from the lore of Transformers like Warpath, Chromia and Scrounge (complete with what looks like a special arm). The artwork is rounded out with some completely original designs, such as Break-Neck and Vectorium, plus some vehicle mode designs including a vehicle mode for the Autotrooper.
The artwork is fantastic, and some of the pieces such as Warpath show the textures and the progress of the piece, meaning it is also a good lesson in how a piece like this is developed. Be sure to check it out!
MechWarriorNY
All good(YMMV) to amazing designs. That Prowl in particular…
Now, *that* is what I imagine a cowboy cop to look like if they were a sentient mech.
TFchronos
Wow, they are all impressive designs.
MegaDolrailer
When was Metroplex mostly red with a cannon on his chest?
bigwhitey21
Why isn't this a toyline? I'd buy the #@%* out of these!
Autovolt 127
Well….that does explain a lot more.
It would be great to a Scrounge toy.
Powerglide1991
Give me a toy of Metrop-…i mean Warpath…NOW!
Decepticons
While I am tired of stick fembots, I can't deny that I love Chromia. Warpath looks badass too.
Soundwinder
I want it so bad.
And then an Electro redeco. Because I will double dip for those.
Is there a robot mode for him yet?
Fallout
awh scrounge what happened to you ):
QLRformer
Lots of people mixing Scrounge with Scourge LOL.
The designs look great. But I'd like to see their alt-modes too to get a general idea (especially Chromia, I hope she doesn't become a bike, and Scrounge, who I have no idea what he can become).
shumworld
Do you notice Scrounge's arm? It's design is unlike any other. xp
Blitz.
I actually will agree the fembots are gettings more then repeditive. Its actually a little sad that even with them all being so skinny they all still look the same.

: – I know right…….
Hell they could went all in got Prime Arcee.
Blitz.
if warpath actually handles like a tank he will be very welcome to the game. The rest? same s**t different day.

Oh for the love off…

Gotta say, these are probably the best TF designs I've seen in a while. The faces are a bit too…bland for my tastes, but I can dig it, and it seems like they struck the right balance between boxy 80's aesthetic and the jagged movie look. They look simplified, but not dumbed down…
I do think Warpath is awful though. But that's just because I'm biased towards his G1/CHUG look…it got through that he was this big boisterous bruiser, ready to find a vicinity and fuck everything up in it. This is just too…idk, everything below the waist isn't doing it for me. Too many extraneous parts.
But still…if a film reboot were to use these designs, I wouldn't complain one bit.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jagex TF Universe stuff looks great. Hasbro really needs to make some toys out of this.
Shmoptimus Prime
Those all look pretty amazing!
The Warpath and the Vectorium are my favorites, with Prowl being at the bottom (I've never really liked the design of any incarnation of Prowl though).
That Guy
You know what I'd really like? Virtual toys of these guys. I think I'd pay money to play around and pose and have them transform and do their game stuff, I don't care enough to actually play the game but to be able to tool around as these models and set up dioramas and stuff would be cool.
Or real toys, never happen, but I'd pay a pretty penny for a real toy of some of the unique characters.
RobotKnight95
They are CGI renders that you'd find in the game if you were playing as them. Anyways, I can't see any notable differences from the concept art to the 3D models present in the case of Wheeljack or Ratchet. As for toys I don't think we're going to get anything until one of the following happen-
1) Hasbro decides to advertise the game with figures of the characters.
2) Prime/Aligned gets a updated toyline similar to CHUG for G1 characters. (Extremely doubtful)
3) 2016 – Post Combine Wars and RiD
