Full FoC Bruticus Toy Revealed

Was just about to post this.

Looks to me like Onslaught compromises the most. I want to see better pics of him though.

Neat.

They definitely captured his general look, and while he's far from perfect (hopefully the guns can be placed further back to fill out the back of the alt mode), it's obvious that sacrifices have to be made for a combiner. All three figures we've seen so far have been above-average, so that's all I can ask.

That vehicle mode is pretty hilarious, unless that gun moves back to fill it out or something. The robot mode, while not accurate, looks pretty nice in it's own right, especially for a combiner.

EDIT: Holy crap! This means Bruticus can have little arms coming out of his chest! Yay!

He definitely takes a hit in accuracy for the sake of combination, but he still looks like a cool toy in his own right.

This is it, the turning point, this is where opinion changes from it being Gods gift to man to an embarrassing pile of crap that could have been done better by a 3rd party...

Personally I'm not surprised that Onslaught looks a little messy, his vehicle mode was quite arbitrary to begin with and he has to do rather a lot.

Yeah being the torso means he's got the short end of the stick. That vehicle mode looks puny and the bot mode is weaker. That Torso looks really good though. I imagined it would be like that though. I will await a clear view of everything together before passing full judgement. He could be mistransformed or in an awkward position too.

I wonder if the shoulders are mistransformed at all in botmode.... those shoulder pieces on the CGI model appear to rotate 90 degrees.

All the same, it IS definitely Onslaught, and I'm gonna assume the cannons mount on his back.

Either way, I think it's safe to say we'll see these guys at ToyFair.

Robot is cool. Vehicle could use more mass in the back. But, hey, he could be mistransformed for all we know.

So, what are the guesses about his size class now?

EDIT: Well, the article again insists Deluxe. I'm curious to see how that pans out.

Eh, I think he looks fine.

I'll judge them when I see Bruticus in full. Not praising or condemning them until that.

This continues to look promising. Yes Onslaught is not perfect but he still looks good. Kind of sucks the combination tabs just stick out from his wheels in alt mode, but it's not something that ruins the figure or anything.

I continue to look forward to more pics.

If anything, the flatbed semi look he has going on there kinda reminds me of the G1 missile truck.

A little skinny compared to the CG, but that's sort of typical for WfC/FoC figures.

Vehicle mode looks like it's got a missing rear half. :/

Granted, the toy sacrifices a bit for the combining feature, but let's face it, the positives of the full body Bruticus part highly outweigh the cons of the single Onslaught toy.

Still rated godly in my book.

Hmmm, looking at this, the only thing that really concerns me is the shoulder connections. I'm sorta concerned that they'll look too thin.

Kinda blech, but I'll take him. Nice to see the combiner head is built in, I assume the feet are as well but the fists - we'll see.

Looks good. I hope we can stick the guns on top in a way that bulks out the back while keeping the Artillery Vehicle alternate mode

Also, at least we now know where Bruticus' back cannons come from. Onslaught's truck mode cannons/handheld weapon are pretty long and double-barreled, and have a peg at the base. HMMMMM

i don't like the connector ports on his wheels... that kinda bugs me... hopefully there's a way to move them...

I hope someone does a stop-motion of the Bruticus Merge when the game comes out.

If that's not Mistransformed I don't know what is. Still cool though.

Holy shit Swindle's vehicle mode looks nuts in that concept art.

I think he looks fine as a toy. Definitely far from that character model, but I'm not really sure which is actually a better design.

I'm thinking mis-transformed. BUT I'll enjoy the Vehicle and Robot mode for all of 5 minutes before he's combined forever!

Only one I plan on buying 2 of Is Swindle, and even then thats in the hope of a more "Traditional" head being released by a third party. (No problem with the real head though)

Should also say, I LOVE IT! And this should Qaush any of the baseless Voyager Onslaught speculation.

Brawl actually looks better as a toy then he does as a concept, how rare is that!

Anyway, Onslaught is...the center of a big combiner. But at least we'll always have the Universe one. And his head sculpt is both accurate and non-awful, contra the Energon/Universe one.

I didn't really care for the Swindle and Brawl, mainly due to their thin and funny looking arms, but it doesn't matter since I'm after Bruticus. However, that Onslaught figure doesn't look half bad.

Still, it doesn't look bad. As long as Bruticus looks cool, I'll be happy.

Not quite as impressive as Brawl and Swindle, but still pretty good in his own right. He ends-up rather skinnier than his in-game design, but if anything this is good. It means he'll have less of a chance at being shorter than the rest of his team. His alt-mode sort of makes me think of Kup, and while I don't consider this a downside, you can see the Bruticus head from the side there.

I really like his double barreled gun. Like others, I think it's safe to assume that it'll form the double cannons on Bruticus's back. It also looks like it'll be able to hold the other team member guns too. I might have my Bruticus holding it as one big multi-barreled gun rather than just having it sit on his back.

Looks like I was right about the arm attachment points being the center of Onslaught's tires. Looks a little odd to have them there in his alt-mode, but it's not a huge issue for me. Looking at the new picture of Onslaught in torso-mode, it looks like his legs could be forming the thighs. His torso and arms don't appear to have any issue forming the torso, so the legs look like they're free to form the thighs.

Should be interesting to see how Vortex and Blast-Off turn out, and it'll be interesting to see how they all look when combined. This'll definitely be one of the highlights for toy fair.

Are those Power Core pegs on Onslaught's shoulders? That would be awesome if they are. XD
