I'm guessing the Dinos will be assigned to the classes their (dino) heads are currently available on. Same for the Insecticons.

Grimlock is a "tank"
Slug is a "Scout"
Snarl is a "Truck"
Swoop is a "Jet"

So if you can be Grimlock that turns into a dinosaur in MP, and you can get a dino heads in place of the robot mode head... does this mean you can have a dino head in bot mode and transform into a dino? That's crazy.

The Dinobots have to fit the classes currently in the game otherwise it cant really work

How are the Dinobots going to work in multiplayer? What do they mean by multiplayer anyway? Competitive multiplayer or Escalation? Escalation makes the most sense to me given we only have 4 of the five Dinobots and Escalation is built around teams of four.

So that's, what, thirty bucks extra? And nothing new, content wise besides a bunch of skins and a gun or two?

Sharpshot's the new name for Shrapnel, referring to the Insecticons included in the pack.

im kinda dissapointed that hound is in a dlc that is another month away. i thought that he was gonna be in the game straight away after seeing some images of his chest in customisation screenshots

Need more parts for g1 carbots. Gimme sunstreaker and prowl or suck it!

I know I'm beating a dead horse but it feels like we're getting ripped off with Hound. I'm almost certain he is already on the disc. Whatever, I just hope this is not all of the dlc available for the game. I REALLY want more parts for multiplayer.

I really hope that the dinobots will be playable in competitive mp. The alt modes would be interesting, especially with the speed of the infiltrator class vehicle.

They are suppose to be, well, there chassis anyways.

Glad to see Hound will make it in as well.

I just really hope that this isn't all that we will be getting for the game. I definitely would love some more SP expansion content. Especially now, since there isn't any co-op to worry about.

Yup, unfortunately. I got the Retro Pack for the PC version, and G2 Bruticus for PS3, so yeah I'll be double-double dipping. No surprise thought as this happened last time as well with WFC and its preorder incentives.

Well at least there is a Sludge is in the game. In the past years, Hasbro and all parties seem to never be able to get all 5 dinobots together ever.

I played with someone using Grimlock in multiplayer last night. The one with the 40 kills win. He was able to carry a shield and a gun.

Sucks that they do not have Sludge on there though...

I really don't understand the licensing / trademark issue here. Hasbro has shown they've gotten around it before with toys like "Autobot Jazz" Instead of just "Jazz." The Hot Rod to 'Rodimus' is probably the best known change because of a trademark issue. If anyone knowns exactly why "Slag" couldn't have been "Dinobot Slag" or "Autobot Specialist Slag" or "Lightening Coalition Member Slag" I would love to hear an informed explanation.

I think that just changing his name to "Slug" dis-serves the character we've come to know in the fiction.

I guess it was sludges turn since snarl got left out (mostly) from the '86 movie. Evidently there is a problem displaying all 5 Dinobots outside of Generation 1 continuity.

Because its not a licensing/trademark issue. Slag is an offensive word in certain territories. Remember the PCC Spastic issue?

So, how do I change Prime into G1 Prime? I preordered through Gamestop and got the G1 pack and the Havock pack for my PC. I have all of the Havok pack shells, but I can't access G1 Prime. I can access the retro laser and the "Shockwave gun" in my teleraan, so I guess the G1 pack is active. I just can't see where the G1 Prime shell is.

I was unaware of the PCC issue. And I think also unaware that "Slag" was offensive, although, hearing this, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Slag to me not as damaging as Windbreaker & Erector (how that name got past the pr dept in the 80's, we may never know).

Day one DLC really needs to stop.

So $10 each pack right? so $30 total for this? WTF, thats already 1/2 the cost of the game for character skins. I'll wait the few weeks until these drop to $1.99 ea.

Knowing that this is probably all the dlc we are going to get I'm a bit disappointed. I was looking forward to more new characters from G1. Like Power Glide, Beachcomber, Hoist, and maybe Motormaster. Also why is there is Barricade?

I love the argument of how it's okay to do this to video games...yet older video games never pulled this crap.

Now let's go with movies. Old movies VHS/DVD either had no extras, or were available on the disc. What would happen if in 2013, BluRay discs started requiring you to pay for unlock codes to watch deleted scenes? Or to listen to commentary tracks? Again, extras that are already on the disc! People would complain, and they would be right. Although there will also be those who are too stupid to understand how they are being ripped off.
