Fall of Cybertron Sludge Revealed

Fuuuu I thought this was a toy reveal and got excited.

He looks great! The really do need to make the Dinobots and I hope they don't look like Combaticons, who sadly look like...crap

I know its likely we'll get Grimlock as a toy. But please Hasbro, give Sludge some love this time. The other three non-Grimlock dinos have had a shot at least once over the years. Give the big guy a turn this time.

They're looking pretty good, although noticeably the old Sludge (who had his name stolen by Slag because of the whole obscene word issue) design is not seen and there is only 4 dinobots.

This...could possibly be a bad thing, if the fandom rage works itself up enough.

Love High Moons takes on the Dinobots, they all need Voyager figures at some point. Love Sludges design the most tho, especially his tiny robot mode head.

What?

1) All 5 Dinobots are confirmed to be in the game. We've now even seen them all.

2) Snarl's name was the one whose name was used for Slag. But it's NOT in this game. and Snarl IS in the game, we've already seen him.

3) Slag will be named Slug in this game, getting around the problem without stealing anyone elses names.

Sludge looks powerful and I like it.

I'm so excited to see Snarl. I was extremely disappointed over the lack of him in Animated and the name steal.. but seeing how great their designs are in the game, will make up for that.

Oh yeah, forgot about old Sludge now being Slug. For a sec there I thought you were talking about the giant slug things you ride after saving Omega Supreme in the "To the Core" mission.

Slag is now Slug. not Sludge. they're changing his name because "Slag" is UK slang for "slut" and HMS didn't want the UK to think they were making TF games starring a slutty triceratops

I also got too excited, hoping a toy was revealed. Still cool news though, sludge looks great. I hope all five of these guys get toys! I'd hope for voyagers but I'd still be excited about deluxes.

I'm wondering if he might suffer brain-damage durring Shockwave's experiments. That would fit the "bad things" hint and explain why he's the "dumb one" of the group.

Really they should have called him 'Slog' as in, to slog someone round the head - it would have preserved the overall sound of his original name much better and perfectly suited his character.

Except 1) There already is a TF with that name, so it'd be stealing again, rather than giving him one of his own that their wont be any future conflicts with and 2) that's a very obscure use of the word slog which usually means fighting through rough terrain, like slogging through a swamp.

There is no dinobot i'd like a toy of more.

I wasn't THAT sad about it.

If Slag and Sludge are released as toys, I'd hope they'd be released as a voyager class.

My erection is so hard right now it hurts . This has been the one and only character design I've been waiting for. It did not disapoint. Can't wait to play the dinobot chapter in this game.

Even Joy Meadows would approve of Sludge now.

But really, i hope Hasbro finds it within themselves to please make the Dinobots into toys in their full glory. I know WFC and FOC toys so far have been in the Generations line and at Deluxe scale but I sincerely hope Hasbro makes the Dinobots in voyager scale. Deluxe scale would simply be too small and when posed beside the others look out of place.

If they don't make them in voyager class they would be repeating the injustice they have been giving the dinobots since after G1. Even if they do come only in deluxe I will buy them. Seeing how on board they are with the prime line being in scale gives me a flicker of hope though.

He's got quite the tiny head, but besides that he is awesome!!

man i really hope that that make the dinobots into figures. that or they at least reissue the g1 dinobots

I'm so glad they went with the original Apatosaurus dino mode and didn't update him into another species. the transformation looks better too rather than having the head and neck hang off the back. I don't mind the small robot head either. Hasbro, if you do only one thing to please the fans this year, please make Voyager sized FoC Dinobots.

On a side note, Firefox shows that Apatosaurus is a spelling mistake and should be Brontosaurus, lol. Someone needs to brush up on their dino names
