Continuing their month long exclusive Fall Of Cybertron news, Gameinformer.com has posted a new article and video regarding Fall Of Cybertron. This time, the focus is on the Dinobots. Pictures have been posted of Slag (referred to as “Slug”), Swoop and Grimlock. Sludge and Snarl are missing at the moment, but the article specifically mentions five Dinobots
Check out the pics after the break. You can watch the video by clicking on the link above.

TigerBlade
You may wanna find out what 'slag' means in the UK!

looks like slag's gotten a new less offensive name… slag is junk but a slug is a faulty bullet better than nothing i guess

How is that a mess up? They did have a good explanation for the Dinobot's origin in this countinuity.During his time on earth before he left back to his own solar system, Shockwave just studied the life forms when it had Dinosaurs and applied them to Grimlock and his team when they are on a different planet. This is not the same as the other G1 origins we've had from the original TV show and comics in the past.

On Cybertron, weren't they a vehicular warrior team referred to as the DYNObots? Then they followed Shockwave to pre-historic Earth, chose beast forms of that era to survive in the harsh environment, and were trapped underground with Shockwave, til the Autobots unearthed them in present day? And then re-titled DINO-bots?
What place to pre-historic Earth lizard forms have on Cybertron?! High Moon, you have done a mess-up.

Well, it’s understandable why the first game got so few toys—there was no guarantee that the first game would do well…or the toy sales of that game. I imagine we’ll see the same amount and a few more this time around, given the game’s success and that of the brand.
It would be nice to get some Dinobots. If Matt Tieger’s passion means anything, I think it’s safe to say he did his best to persuade Aaron Archer to make toys of key figures this time around—You know he wants toys of every single one of these figures just as much everyone else here does too.

I wish we received more Cybertronian toys last time around (I would have loved a WfC Shockwave, Brawl, Arcee, Slipstream, and Air Raid…) so here's hoping there's enough interest for a full sub-line.

As long as Dinobots are in the picture,am satisfy with it.

They DO explain where Dinosaurs on Cybertron come from which is why no one asked.

Wow, it's page 13 and you are definitely the first person to ask this.
How did I fail to come up with that myself? Boycott, guys. Who's with me?

About to go read the article, but before I read it, I just have to say… how in the world do DINO-bots make it in War Within as Dinosaurs??? Off to read…
MagnusPrimal
This. Oh sweet Primus, this!

I tried to get excited for the possibility of Dinobots combining and…I just don't have it. They always fail to live up to the original Megazord.
I think it's that dinosaurs are so freaking cool that it's always a disappointment to see them tacked onto some big gray humanoid.

Ultra Grimlock & Sludge.
Voyager Slag & Snarl.
Deluxe Swoop.
*sigh* If only…

is he not a full city n wfc?…if so… thats not on par w/ a combiner team..ive been trying to stay away from reading to much bout the game as i dont want to ruin it for me so forgive my ignorance..
Transformed
The Autobots have Metroplex.
kaos
i wonder if the dinos will combine..see n as tfc has their own combining dinos..plus the combaticons are in WFC and as far as i know there hasnt been confirmation on any autobot combiner team to counter them…if has/tak was really interested in beating these guys to the punch(like some claim) then this would be another thing to counter the 3rd party folks…not that i care cuz i'll buy from whom ever has the the products i perfer..but it would be killer just for once not to have to rely on 3rd party so heavily for the bots i want..heres hoping that they do..or dont..im still getting the toys either way..

^ Sure, it's not some sort of trust thing. It's just word choice.
The leak of that Voyager Jetpower Optimus back when was certainly trustworthy enough, but the item was not manufactured in the end. If any of the Allspark Almanac II stuff had leaked, again, it would have been accurate to say that they were on their way to market, but they were never made. Such a leak would have been a trustworthy, but ultimately inaccurate, claim.
