I really don't like the faces on Swoop or Slag. Grimlock and Sludge are alright I guess.

i'm pretty sure Hasbro said they aren't doing Dinobot Toys because they were done with them.

Hasbro would be silly not to make these into toys, it's one thing if you love transformers like we all do but it's another when a kid sees a robot that transforms into a dinosaur. My nephew saw the screen caps and says, "Can I have that?" My response: "Only with a little bit of energon... and a lot of luck." Your move Hasbro.

Am I the only one who's getting a little tired of the Dinobots stealing the spotlight for this game constantly? I mean, they're awesome, but there ought to be more stuff they can show us.

Maybe they'll show us stuff this weekend at Botcon? I'm itching to learn more about Multiplayer and if Wheeljack and who the playable roster is.

I genuinely hope that all five of them get toys. Voyager or deluxe, I don't care, I just want all five. I like their designs. Especially since these seem to be the most advertised characters for the game.

There was a clip of a someone from High Moon, somewhere here on TFW, from a Con (I think last year), who, while talking about FoC, slipped about Dinobot toys. Didn't confirm anything, but he wants Dinobot toys too.

There was also something (I think which also reached these boards) were the designers admitted they had to be careful when designing the Dinobots, so they could be made into toys.

The Dinobots getting toys isn't ruled out yet. Nor has it been confirmed, though.

& considering the Dinobots ARE the promotion for FoC, it'd be beyond idiotic not to cash in on toys of them.

It's great that they set out to do that, however they did not accomplish their objective. All of the in-game shots appear to match the concept art. You couldn't actually make toys out of the concept art with today's technology, though.

Looking over those designs, not a single one of the Dinobots could have a toy made where the concept sketches allow for both modes to be made without one having to make compromises in order to make the other work.

Design issues aside, with as much focus as there has been on Grimlock in particular, Hasbro would be missing an immense opportunity if they didn't make an FoC toy of at least him.

I hadn't seen these pics of Swoop before and i'm not sure if i like his face ... the concept seemed to have a lot more detail, like he had an actual face but something just looks ... off to me. I don't know, maybe i'm not putting much of a point across. lol Hopefully actually seeing some in game stuff he'll grow on me as i really like Swoop.

Yeah, there's a misconception floating around due to how the OP of another thread worded things, but posters who read the interview that's about have said no such thing was said & his quotes are all out of context. (I've yet to get around to reading the interview myself.)

Rikotron is bored of seeing pics of the Dinobots. They will more than likely appear for only one or two levels in the game. I would like to see more detail on the rest of the cast, i.e. not just novelty additions like Bruticus and Dinobots...

I know what you're saying and it's true, it does seem like all we're getting is Dinobots at the moment. But they did say that this month (April) they'd be showing us the Dinobots and when you're constantly waiting for new stuff a month can seem like ages so who knows, we may get something new and different next month? But the game isn't out until the end of August so there's plenty of time yet to have reveals. Although i'm the kind that doesn't mind a few spoilers here and there so the more info i get the better, but maybe that's just me.

I can't believe I'm this stoked for a video game, but I am.

i still really wish swoops upper body were blue rather than red. when i was younger, i always loved swoop in the cartoon because he was blue.

Hasbro is never done with the Dinobots. They want to done with them because Michael Bay doesnt want them in HIS movies or Timeline.

Honestly though while we have to make up reasons for why there would be robot versions of Dinosaurs I think the reason is in the aesthetic.

Im sorry sometimes good things just have no explanations. The Dinobots just seem powerful and cool and while in our heads it doesnt make sense it definitely makes sense visually.

Hasbro will definitely make toys of these when the game gets extremely popular.
