Agreed, now since April is nearly done, I predict that High Moon will start to show more than just the dinobots. BTW I really like Jazz's voice and how you can actually see the vehicle guns sticking out this time unlike WFC.

Loved that intro...tho got annoyed kinda listening to the dude, mostly because I just wanted to hear Jazz's voice. Digging it so far. Now if only Jazz's toy was this cool :<

Anyone know who's doing Jazz's voice? I really like it.

Also, anyone notice that the optics of the big mech that was moved (Titan thing) stayed in one spot while it moved? Hehehehe, it was kinda creepy tho.

Way to show absolutely jack shit and play badly. All I caught was that melee is much less powerful and slidely mclanding is still present.

The game looks good but that video was underwhelming. It really felt like they just took whoever was there to talk and played a random part of the game.

It needed to be edited a bit or at least needed a little more prep time.

All the same, I'm still pumped for the game.

That commentary was pretty bad...and the gameplay highlighted the worst aspects of 1st/3rd person shooter levels - 'where the hell do I go next' syndrome.

do we know what the controls are going to be like? (sorry if that's a stupid question).. i really liked war for cybertrons controls, and i was really hoping that fall of cybertron would be the same thing only a different story.

i remember hearing that the melee stuff was going to be changed..

but does anyone know how similar or dissimilar the game is going to be from war for cybertron?

Good to see that my second-favorite Autobot is getting some time in the spotlight. Hopefully we'll get to see even more new footage from Botcon.

He played the demo once then decided to play it again in front of the camera. Very poorly done.

On to the game. The person doing Jazz's voice is doing a somewhat good job of channeling Scatman. The level was obviously incomplete, considering all the floaty bits. (The Sentinel-looking hunk of scrap's optics hovering in place while the rest of it moved.) It nice to know that the upgrades for characters go across the board, though how often do we get to play with the same characters for it to matter remains to be seen. I do wish melee was a bit more combo oriented, but at least we will be getting that with Grimlock.

All in all....these next 4 months are going to be brutal. I hope Sears breaks the street date again.

Pretty cool, the level looks a little puzzly though. I luv his Porsche mode! But what Im excited about if the figure!

I had hoped that the enemies would all be individual this time around...I suppose it was a forlorn hope for a non-PC game, but i dont think it could have taken too much memory to have enemies randomly put together from a colour palette and a shared pool of a few hundred parts? Oh well. It wont ruin the game, i just hate, so much, 'clones' and 'drones' in transformers.

Nice, and Jazz sounds better than great Is this still the Alpha Build? The shot of Starscream int he last G4 video was much smoother.

It's too bad they cut us off just when Jazz was about to make a bridge, advancing the story, but oh well. Anyway, nice find

The moment they had to take some 30-odd characters each with their own unique abilities and powers and put them in a 3rd person shooter.

that guy "reviewing" sounds like a moron! he starts talking about the way you learn the enemy's and adapt and shit...yea dude that's ALL FRIGGEN VIDEO GAMES DUH! its like this is the first game he has ever seen or played! anyway the game "looks" much the same as the last besides a few design changes and that's not a win for me, if this was comic style I would be over the moon and killing sooooo noname bots has got me tired ALREADY .
god forbid they include any of the THOUSANDS of transformer characters ,there's ways to get around individually animating every enemy you fight!

the guy reviewing is suuuuch a nuuuuube ! he dont know shit, its one thing to have Jazz as a sniper but to review a game and comment incorrectly as to what a character is known for........that's just dumb

Jazz looks slightly cooler than I thought previously. Apparently "breakdancing" was a major part of Jazz's character. WHO KNEW?

Apparently they didn't care when they did it with WFC. Myself along with few others here got the game about a week or so earlier, thanks to Sears. And we weren't about to report them.

Wow, now I am interested in the game. FOC is more like an action game which seems to be much better than that half-ass 3rd person Shooter WFC.
Still , I like WFC prime design better.

That commentator was awful D:

But I do like how the game is shaping up, Jazz jumped rather neatly between platforms, I can see that playing out into quite exciting battles.

Looks like good fun. I'm not sure on the voice for Jazz at the mo, but then there wasn't a lot in this gameplay trailer really. I'm sure the voice will grow on me once i get the game in hand. I found it interesting that they've nerfed the melee attack .... in WFC it was a one hit kill (For the most part) but here the enemies were getting up after a first strike which i'm sure will make the game a bit more challenging once the proverbial hits the fan.

This is underwhelming at best. If they had taken some cues from ROTF you'd be able to drive real fast and transform into a super jumper to close the distance. His grappling hook doesn't seem THAT exciting. Maybe being able to perform incredible jumps AND being able to grapple would have been cool. These designers are losing creativity, and I'm guessing that's due to the monotony of WFCs controls. They made it control so much like every other game I think they have backed themselves into corner. Hey High Moon...next time you make an earth based Transformers game you think you could add a mechanic so that giant robots can climb buildings again?

The guy narrating the video sounds like a tool. "Jazz is gonna get back to what he's known for, which is Sniping"

...

Really? Jazz is known for sniping huh? Yeahhhh that's totally his most redeeming, and notable quality...

That would have been wayyyyyy better. I WISH the developers thought like you. They claim to be fans...but doesn't everybody for PR's sake?

I hope I'm wrong but this game just seems like more of the same, with bigger set pieces trying to fool us, but if there aren't major improvements to multiplayer I just don't care. DOTM was a worthless turd, and to be honest...I think ROTF was the best one and didn't get the recognition it derserved. There was so much freedom, so many different moves, and if you got the hang of the controls, multiplayer was awesome. It was missing some polish, and host migration....but in retrospect it just seems like it was more innovative and more fun.

Wasn't that the whole point? I thought HMS was doing just that, making it easy for the casual gamer to pick it and play it on the fly as well as a natural gamer.

i love the look of the rocket launcher and since it was too big for the size of jazz i really like the fact that he was struggling to hold it as he was leaning to one side (i didnt notice that in WFC apart from when u hold the turret guns which were huge)

Did anyone else notice the first robot he killed had Deadend's body? Seriously, they need to stop reusing parts!!


EDIT: Did anyone also notice that the enemies take more than one melee to kill? Yay! Melee is not overpowered! The balance of MP is restored maybe!
EDIT 2: Also I see that instead of getting ammo/health/weapons isn't smashing a small box, you find it lying around instead of floating.
+20 for having the weapons visible as what weapon they are before you pick them up.

I think most of the enemies in the game will be made up of different parts from different characters.. which is fine by me, it gives you a sense of how customization will be in multiplayer..

I noticed that (unless I'm wrong) Jazz meleed the bots with his gun. I couldn't see a sword fly out and fly back in. If this is true then I'm going to go on a limp and say that melee weapons are separate and you can combo like Grimlock. I hope so.
