As mentioned a few weeks back, the second of the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron DLC packs will be released next Tuesday. The “Dinobot Destructor Pack” adds the Dinobots (Grimlock, Swoop, Slag/Slug, and Snarl)) for use in the multiplayer for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC- Dinosaur modes and all. There is no price listed at this time. Matt Tieger talks a little about the process and the challenge of bringing the Dinobots into multiplayer over on The Verge, and he also teases a big “maaaaybe” on more single player content via DLC.

That's not the trailer, it's just a bit of gameplay.
HMS trailers typically have more flare to them

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron "Dinobots" DLC Gameplay Video
Official trailer released.

Grimlock was the only one that I saw. And I think it's slated for next year too.
Ultramax Primus
I can't wait to use the Dinobots in multiplayer also I hope High Moon will added a new DLC campaign .

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 had a bunch of maps that could be used in a co-op campaign for DLC (of course that was like 4 years ago!). Other that that I'd agree with you and say it's pretty rare to see much in the way of single player DLC for these types of games.
I'm hoping they at least give us some more Escalation stuff. The new parts for MP are cool and all but don't give me much value, especially at the price they are asking. Hopefully if they put them on sale down the road sometime the MP community won't be dead by then.

Only the jets had secondary weapons on their vehicle modes in WFC, and (IIRC) both Vortex and Starscream have two sets of vehicle mode weapons in their campaign missions.

Call me when you have a new Single Player campaign DLC with a new story. I don't give a damn about multiplayer DLCs.
bman29
I agree. The campaign was way too short for my taste. You can beat in about 6-8hrs or less. I liked a lot of things they added but didn't on somethings they took away. Co-op campaign, vehicle secondary weapons and abilities. I liked the game, but I'm still going to dream for a Gears of War style Transformers game someday. There is so much more that could have been done.

Agreed,
Teiger and co. dropped the ball on Single Player mode.
This is a multiplayer game franchise. The Single player mode only serves to "train" players to go online.

Well, how else are they supposed to make a profit on their product and the work they put into it, and not get gouged by MS and Sony? The only alternative I see is releasing it as a 100% download and charging more for it to make up for the fees. $15 for the Dinobots instead of $10 for example. It's probably why map packs for all the shooters out there have gotten so pricey nowadays($20 a pack for just a couple maps, or so I hear).
Galaxy Convoy
I'll believe that when I see it. I can't think of any online MP game at all that actualy had it's single player/co-op story or campaign mode added onto via DLC. Traditionally, the devs release their game and never even give that side of their game so much as a single thought afterward. Which is a shame, as I feel there's a vast untapped potential to keeping the single player and especially co-op fun going.

While I get that M$/Sony are money grubbing asshats who can charge quite a bit for DLC and update patches… it's still a dick move on their part to build up soooo much content, then lock it up for months in advance.
On one hand, I see what you mean… on the other… nope… it's still BS.
Also, it should be "FU Activision" if anything, as I'm sure HMS was coerced into the locked content by Activision, who isn't the least bit shy at the nickel-and-dime tactics of DLC.
The F.N.G.
The article contains a "maybe" near the end in regards to single player DLC content.
He has an alt-mode model, at least. It's visible in Shockwave's lab and during the credits.
Clitsy
I must be the only person that doesn't play online. I think it's ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT that they don't offer any cool DLCs for single player mode… They should make them work for Single and Multiplayer.
Galaxy Convoy
Well, that's the thing. 90-95% of all DLC made for any game was in fact created along side the game. They just choose to keep it stored away on their computers until they decide to release it on XBL and PSN. Whether it's locked away on the disc or stored away on the dev's computers, it's still DLC that was made in advance. It's just that one of those delivery methods would be more expensive and troublesome for us than the other.
I do agree that the price of these FoC parts packs are a little on the steep side. Which we can blame on Activision. We all already know how greedy they are. There are ways to combat that though. Wait for a cheaper complete package of all the DLC, or wait for PSN and XBL to put the individual packs on sale for half price or something.
chaingunsofdoom
They should give it to us for free as a reward for beta-testing their "Multiplayer" for the last 2 weeks. See who has some level 25 chars or Prime Mode…
I don't want to complain any more about it here, but I had 3 dropped games last night in less than a hour. I had two 6 on 1 games last night. I was the 1 once. It sucked. I am still seeing 7-5 games. This is "minor league" stuff.

There's a big perception (rightfully so, I'd say) that having that content on a disc you purchased means the work was already done way in advance, they just decided to lock it behind a pay wall arbitrarily to get more money. A patch at least shows that you didn't have this content before, you're getting the data to it now so your online experience isn't fragmented, and you'll have to pay if you want to use it.
For the rest, yeah, Sony and Microsoft are as much to blame on that end but I still can't give Activision (Activision is more likely to blame for this, not High Moon) a free pass. This console cycle was the first where we really had to deal with issues of patching, tons of DLC, etc…and with any luck, these are issues we can iron out when it comes time for the PS4/XBOX 720.
Galaxy Convoy
Then you end up with inaccessible data on your hard drive rather than the disc, that still has to be paid for to access it. Nothing has changed. The data's just in a different location. And we'd go from complaining about on-disc DLC to complaining about being forced to download it anyway if you don't plan on buying it.
And the fact remains, one that people seem to keep ignoring or are just completely oblivious to, is that both Microsoft and Sony fleece developers with their fees on every bit of DLC they do and every patch they release. And the bigger the data size of the DLC or patch, the bigger the fee. That's especially hard hitting for developers whose games are multi-platform, because they get nailed by BOTH parties. The fee on a 100kb unlock code is much less than what it would be on a 100-200+ MB download. Hell, those 12 DLC characters for SFxT? Heard the total data size for all 12 is around half a gig. Now imagine the fee on that, then double it since Capcom would've gotten boned by both Sony and MS.
Game developers want to support their games with added content, but also rightfully want to make a profit on it too. They're already losing profit on the game itself to piracy and pre-owned games sales. Hence DLC becoming so common now. And when it comes to the DLC they're stuck dealing with the middlemen, Sony and MS, that take a big chunk of their DLC profit with their fees. So considering that is it really any surprise that game developers started looking for ways for get around the middlemen and their fees? It isn't to me. The alternatives are higher priced DLC, less DLC in general(and probably high priced), or maybe even no DLC at all.
I admit, I'm not the biggest fan of locking away the data on the disc. But I understand why they do it. And I tend to focus on the pro's of it, rather than cons. A lot of folks lately are spouting off their "FU Capcom" and "FU HMS", when they really should be saying "FU MS and Sony for causing game developers to go this route".

According to the cut scene in the game with Jazz, he was alive but didn't make it out of the sand pits. They mentioned he was in stasis lock if I recall. Maybe they sent a team out later to recover him when they started to transport the energon. Hope I didn't spoil anything for you if haven't got to that part yet in game. HMS might have made a model of him. Who knows.
Girl Pants
Does he even have a proper model at all? I assume the others are carryover from single-player content. Was sludge even expirmented on? I was a bit confused on if he was caught when the others were taken in to be expirmented on or if he had somehow failed at escaping afterwards.
