We are being assaulted with Transformers: Fall of Cybertron content from E3 2012. This time, IGN takes their time to talk with the Game Director; Matt Tieger.
The demonstration contains more than what we’ve seen recently when it comes to gameplay and you can listen to what Matt has to say about it.

I don't recall seeing much hate for Tieger. Then again, I'm not on these boards all day long like some people. I think it's just the overuse of "Space T-Rex!" that it's practically become a meme among the fandom.

oh sorry i'm on my ps3 and skips sometime with words and what I meant to say was as far as I know he's trying to break in shockwave's lab and from i've seen i'm guessing he wants to use the dinobots for himself although the clip where I saw grimlock escape I couldn't hear what they were saying .
StarYoshi14
Was than English? What I am wondering is why Starscream is attacking fellow Decepticons.
soundwave142
starscream is an starscream is the one who teases grimlock then grimlock grabs him then throughs him into a computer freeing him..I saw on one of the many gameplay vids lol
StarYoshi14
Starscream is going against Shockwave, then. I wonder if Shockwave is trying to turn against the Decepticons, or if Starscream is.
And I loved the Matrix of Leadership joke that Tieger took a second to get. Really funny stuff.

To each his own, but Starscream is Starscream. Blum would have been great here–still wish Mr. Welker would have been brought on board for Megatron from here on out
What this game needs though is more variety in voice actors. Nolan North is all over the place in this game with his actual voice. Normally, I like the guy, but I don't like him in this game thus far

😯 Really? I'd of thought it would of worked perfectly seeing how much grittier the game is than Prime.
Ah well, this the ONLY thing I can say that I am not a fan of in FOC, everything else is just…. so much want.
Grimlockimus
And don't get me wrong, I would love to see Steve Blum as the new voice of Starscream, similar to how Peter Cullen and Frank Welker are iconic for their roles, but this Starscream and the Prime Starscream, while possibly one in the same, the voice of Blum really works on Prime Starscream with the body language and character in general.
I'm just not sure how well it would work for the WFC/FOC build of character.
Downshift-1307
Eh… I dunno, this SS just REALLY bugs me.
Hopefully the guy doing him this time around has "calmed down" a little this time, he was trying WAAAAY too hard last time.
Grimlockimus
Chore? It's an open flying map, with stealth take downs and heavy weapons, featuring raiding Shockwave's lab for who knows what.
True, the voice isn't what many wanted, but I'm sure many fans would complain about it changing if it had been. I'll take it as it is, and enjoy blowing minds as Starscream ^_^
Downshift-1307
It REALLY disappoints me that they've kept Starscream's voice actor from War for Cybertron… He makes me cringe every time I here that ridiculous over-acting. (Been replying WfC with a friend recently and I forgot how quite amazingly bad he is… I've heard kids do better 'Screamer voices on Youtube…)
I was seriously hoping for Steven Blum's Starscream perfection but now his chapter is going to be an absolute chore…
Kantus Prime
Starscream looks like so much fun!!!

This interview makes me wonder what was up with all the hate for the Tiege. Matt is the polar opposite of Bay, which is to say he goes 'full ******' sometimes when unneeded, but at least he's a fan of this franchise and works hard to make this a mass marketable game, as well as something fan's can love.
So much character shown in just the ways the characters levels play. If every character's level takes them into consideration like this, I would have to continue singing high praises for High Moon.
shadowsfm
this was so much better then gametrailers interview. thanks IGN!
BlueAngel_Bolt
Silly Starscream! This isn't a Michael Bay film!
This game is looking fantastic so far.
Smasher
I'm pleasantly surprised to see that this game is getting so much attention at E3.
Yeah, kinda.
Also, in ROTF none of Devastator's individual pieces had wrecking balls, yet his combined form had two of them.
And by that time, the 'dick joke every 8 minutes' formula for ROTF had worn thin.
Alooulla
Fantastic footage, hyped as hell. Trouble is, why do these game interviewers never seem to know anything about games?
In a somewhat awesome manner though, i remember an interview Matt did with the Metro, which is a free newspaper here in the UK found on public transport. The interviewer in that knew exactly what he was talking about, because the fan in the office had obviously been sent to do it. Thats professional journalism right there.

Depending on what video you watched, you might have seen 8/31/2012 as the release, which I believe is (was?) the European release date–if it hasn't changed.
The first trailer I saw for FOC had one of those PEGI 18 announcements attached to it and at the end of the video the above date was listed just below the game's title. No long after that, however, I saw another video, an American one that said the 28th is he release date, so either the game has two different dates or the date was bumped up a few days. Whatever the case, it's still a ways a way
I want this game now damn it!
silverbolt00
lol Yeah, but there's a little bit of a difference between a giant swinging pair of what are supposed to the balls … (Literally) and a bot getting a sneaky kick to the jubblies ….

Devastator's nut shot: Everyone complains. Movie ruined.
Starscream kicking a bot in the nuts: Constant praise.
