Ah, and now my worries have become null and void. Grimlock isn't overly huge to make him a huge target. None of them are overly huge on the map, and best of all. Dino Fire Breath! Oh, and did anyone else notice that all of their enemies in the vid were Insecitcons? .o.
Swoop looks great!
And why exactly was the Slag name referenced in the game (therefore negating the possibility of trademark which may have prevented the use of his proper name), but instead called Slug? Slug is about the least fierce sounding name to give any bot that turns into an animal you could imagine... just slightly above 'baby chick' and rabid squirrel.

Just your friendly reminder that you could have been playing this at launch.
Actually they didn't port them until post game launch....but if the pack is like a few KB's then I am wrong lol
Tiller is being bitchy and means that the models are included on the disk. This is so people who don't have the DLC can play with those who do. If it wasn't on the disk then one of two things would have happened. Either there would be separate multiplayer modes for those with DLC; which would have effectively cut the population in half (or more if you think about "What if they have this DLC but NOT this one?". Remember how few players the PS3 had? Imagine cutting that into 3rds and trying to find a game if the DLC players were segregated. Option two would be to make the DLC pointless and if you were playing with someone who didn't have the DLC, your character who uses the DLC would then become a generic model because the game needs SOMETHING to draw. So there's your options. Pointless DLC, divided players, or on disk DLC.
Or how about an actual option like a title update? Update everyone's game with new content so everyone's on the same playing field, lock access to the new stuff if you don't pay for it. I would have no issues with something like that. I take a huge issue with not being able to access content when I paid full price for the game and then having to wait a few months for content that's already finished to be unlocked. And then getting charged more to play it. This method also leaves room for brand new content that isn't included on the disk that was in development after the game went gold or post launch. They would have the freedom to add anything they wanted, and we would have more content at launch. No divided playerbase. Everyone wins. The only hurdle is console gaming and their inefficient and prohibitive patching cycles. But that's another topic for another day. Bottom line, this shit was in the game from the start. Anyone looked at the ini. file can attest to this. There is literally a variable "LOCKED_FOR_DLC" set to 1 or 0. Changing just one of those values grants you access to them. Heck there were two whole maps on disk, so it isn't just characters that are slowly slipping down a dangerous slope.
That is GENIUS. The DLC even adds the parts into the game when it's released, you just can't use them until you buy it, this would be NO different. And there's going to be DLC maps? HELL YEAH
Are we really gonna have this stupid on-disc DLC arguement EVERY TIME something like is posted? How about both sides of the arguement just agree to disagree and stop derailing these threads?
As another point, I believe Microsoft charges something along the lines of $10,000 for an update for games. (Game balance can be adjusted by High Moon's servers. Full patches require Microsoft and Sony involvement.) But go ahead and keep on raging. This practice isn't going away.
ugh, I understand why they didn't use "slag"...but "Slug"????? what about "Slam"..."Snap"..."Slash"....."Surge"....."Stamp"......."stab"...ect; I know "Slug" means they only changed one letter....bu who is going to be afriad of the terrifying....."Slug"???
