haven't seen this posted anywhere... if you order preorder the 360 or ps3 version of the rotf game you get a g1 ironhide skin. looks pretty cool, now if they'd only make the toy version...
also this is way better than the gold prime and megatron in my opinion...

This looks ugly to me, and imo, is not so much a G1 skin as it is G1 colors. A true G1 SKIN should alter the way he looks entirely to match his original appearance. For Ironhide's ROTF aestetic I agree that the black looks better.
On a side note, I really hope we DO get some true G1 skins and extra unlockable G1 characters.

well the meaning of a "skin" is supposed to be just a color swap. what you want are g1 character models(like the g1 prime and megatron in the last game).

wow. Now THAT'S Ironhide. I like color in my Transformers. The first movie has too much grayscale. Prime and Bumblebee were the only two that stood out. I want color in my mindless summer action popcorn flicks! Colors also help to piece together which parts of the robot are parts of the chassis and which are underlying mechanical structures. Bots like Blackout, Starscream, Jazz, etc just sorta blend together, looking like random balls of motor parts. The color helps to streamline the design. Ironhide being black made it difficult to see any details in the first movie since the majority of the Transformers were seen in dark lighting conditions (I know it saves on rendering times and details for the poor ILM nerds, but still)

Well all I'm saying is in the first game they had a PROPER G1 skin for Prime, that is what I want again. No retarded color swap is worth a damn in my opinion....kind of like how Prime and Megs had the only good skins in the first excuse for a game.

Actually that doesn't look half bad. I prefer the black, but this a really deep red so its kinda cool.I wouldn't buy a repaint but I'd play a few levels with this skin on for the hell of it.

You're talking about character models. Creating G1 models for all main characters would boot the production time and cost up with arguably high amounts.

I bought the game and one of the unlockables for the game by doing whatever got you this skin for single and multiplayer
