Kombo.com and Gametrailers have released more information about the new Revenge of the Fallen game.

Kombo has a pretty extensive write up with some tidbits taken from Associate Producer Adrian Murphy. Gametrailers meanwhile has a new interview with Adrian in which he presents this new addition to the Transformer's gaming franchise.

We've embeded this video below and please click on the title to discuss this with fellow fans on our message board.

If it looks like Skywarp, acts like SKYWARP, it IS Skywarp.

Oops. Had a CAPSIDENT.
shortround:
long hall in dump tuck mode nice
autobotguy:
Why do they keep called Blackout "Grindor"??? Does he get rebooted as a different bot, but with the same body???

Well, I KNOW it's Skywarp! I just didn't even think that they would give him a gameplay feature such Teleporting.
VaderPrime1:
I really, really, REALLY want this game now!
Opticron Primal:
It sounds like they actually bothered to focus on the gameplay and multiplayer mechanics. That's a good sign. Rather have a good game with a few characters then a poor game with a huge roster.
Starscreamer95:
Nice to see Skywarp still has some good ol` GEEWUN in him.
Trikeboy:
I was sold when he said Combaticons, Protectobots and Arielbots.
frilly toothpick:
this game looks better and better the more i see of it.
Sledgehammer:
I'm sincerely trying to adopt the mindset of 'if you haven't got anything good to say, then don't say anything', but my initial suspicions of this seem to be increasingly cemented. Especially with that frame-rate.

*shakes head and walks away*
luap184:
i seriously think this game is turning out better and better each time we see some news on it. well im definatly sold no!!! have to save up for this now aswell as the figures. im gonna be spending alot on ROTF stuff
SPLIT LIP:
This gives me hope that it will at least be entertaining and fun to play multiplayer. Vangelus, there's your confirmation of jump and transform at any time.
Nexus Prime:
I'm glad they seem to have put some thought into multiplayer. Different characters having different abilities sounds cool, let's hope it gels together well. Makes me wonder if the downloadable characters will also be for multiplayer. We could have Mirage turning invisible, Hound with his holograms for distraction and the list goes on.
Brooticus:
I'm a big games fan, and If i'm going to be honest i'm a bit of a snob when it comes to games based on films because as a rule of thumb, they usually turn out to be terrible due to a short gestation period and a fixed release date.

However, I find myself somewhat optimistic about this one. Even If it ends up getting average review scores, i'll probably still pick it up simply because i'm a big transformers fan.

I cant wait to play online, but i'd be worried that the game wont be as balanced as it could be. I'm sure there will end up being one character that everyone plays as because its so easy to kick much ass with them (think Akuma or Ryu from SF4). We'll probably see a loads of updates in the first months of release.
Dran0n:
Awesome!

I have to agree, and the announcement of online play was icing on the cake; it already sounds way better than the first. I hope it has lots, and I mean lots, of CG rendered cutscenes. I know certain formats won't be able to handle such things, but why punish consoles whose media's able to hold lots of content, I'm of course talking about Blu-ray.

Does that mean theres gonna be a whole bunch of gestalts in the game????

Or just being lame and taking the group names?

Troop names. But I hope we get protectobot, combaticon, and aerialbot as toys later.

I'm alright with it as it fleshes out the multiplayer options more. And gives cannon fodder for single player.

These past few days with the multiplayer demonstration and the explanation on how transformation is performed (holding the trigger in for alt form)

I'm excited for the 360 version. I almost preordered it but gamestop preordered terminator redemption instead

(terminator < transformers)
so I canceled the preorder and will just pick it up from wal mart whenever.
Eric:
After playing the first game yesterday, I REALLY hope this one's worlds better.
Embryoyo:
After watching this video I am even more excited for the game now.
So far, it looks fun as hell to play.
Even though it's not the best graphics, but who cares long if its a good game.
Still going to rent it just in case...
Atlas:
I have this game pre ordered , I cant wait multiplayer looks awsome.
