US Masterpiece Skywarp Packaging Image

Hey guys, not sure if we have seen this before? Excuse me if it isn't news, and lock/delete if neccesary.

Yizhi has posted a picture of the back of the box of the MP Skywarp toy of the..ok I will stop now.
I believe it's from the new American version, with more accurate colors, right?

Also added are pictures of the ROTF Supreme Devastator box, but I think we have already seen that.

So he's only a level 3 Conversion? That seems low graded to me.

Ta for sharing. Looks cool, but then it's Skywarp Good for folks that didn't/couldn't get the Takara Masterpiece. Will be sticking with my MP-6 tho, I prefer it.

It amazes me how I chose my favorite Transformers & then the bio's always seem to match my personality. back in 84 when the seekers first showed up I chose Skywarp as my first TF & favorite of the 3, just based on the black & purple colors scheme. And now this bio fits my personality almost perfectly. It's weird how that keeps happening.

I have the Takara version but now I'll probably get this one too just for the box & bio.

Yeah that is a little low. I sold my Walmart MP SS so I can't recall what the number was but they are surely a 4 on 1-4 scale.

Isn't it a repaint? No matter what the number on the box says, it will be the same transformation as Starscream..so make of that what you will.

Toy-wise, I think it looks pretty cool and I be glad to get him.
(My MP Starscream-experience was getting my 3 of him, but to let you know...it was luck as it took me 3 weeks..getting 1 a week so I got lucky there.)

Mine wasn't that bad, actually, but for a lot of people around here, it got pretty crazy.

Came with the help of a friend, though. Then in the weeks afterwards, I saw them in several Wal-Marts around me warming shelves for a few weeks. I remember that they had them all over the store in some states...

I managed to score 3 (1 for a friend, 1 for display, and 1 to keep sealed).

I'm so glad hasbro is doing this, now all we need is thundercracker stateside and I'll be happy

Finally! Time to start saving my duckies, and to think I almost imported this thing.

I already have MP Skywarp, so I'll pass on this one, but I hope it does well enough to allow for the eventual release of Thundercracker and Grimlock.

Unless I'm missing it, WM MP SS doesn't have a transformation difficulty rating listed on his box. Not that it matters anyway, since the transformation difficulty rating just reflects the price point and really has nothing to do with how hard the figure is to transform.

Wal-Mart doesn't always put their exclusives up on their website, though. MP SS wasn't, Alt Ravage and Alt Rumble weren't, RotF Skywarp and Ramjet were only up for a few days and there are a few others in recent memory that didn't make it to the website either.

Wal Mart exclusive pretty much means not-available-in-Canada. I guess if I really want him, it will have to be an online purchase.

Same, I have MP Skywarp as well, but I want to get one to keep sealed in the U.S. packaging along with US SS. I'm sure that they will pump out Thundercracker eventually. Perhaps next year around the same time? I'm not holding my breath for Grimlock, however. It might happen, but they will have a bunch of things to nerf on him.

If it is, just have a forum member pick one up for you. Last year, people were helping each other out a lot around here.

No chance. They'll screw us over on Thundercracker like they did with Classics...then do a BotCon exclusive Thundercracker for like $10,000. Increase demand, decrease supply, increase price. It's Hasbro-nomics!!

Universe/Classics Skywarp was a Target exclusive packed with a repainted Prime as Ultra Magnus. eBay is your only real option at this point, unless you REALLY wanna pay out the $$$ and buy it at a comic book/collectibles store.

I got mine at Target for $9.82 on clearance... two figures for less than 1 at regular price.

Ah, yes...I remember all the complaints about stress marks and QC back when the Walmart MP SS came out. Hopefully we don't have a repeat of that whole issue when Skywarp is released.
