| Universe Unicron on Ebay with New Clear Image |

You can view the auction by clicking here. Note that the deco on this sample appears to match the Armada paint applications.

Same for the Titanium series. As I recall, Cybertron Unicron had no faction sigil on him.
The Classics Minicons were originally made for Cybertron, and kind of shoved into Classics. They were categorised by Autobot and Decepticon-allied teams.
My comment about the faction sigil on this Unicron is if they're using the same deco plan as Armada, there wouldn't be one tamographed on him anyway. He never had any insignia in Armada.

He never had any insignia in Armada. | first of all i was not talking about cybertron unicron. and he did not have an insigna on the armada but the bio for takara and the english had all the insignas. even on the show (energon) on the episode called "distrubition". unicron had an insigna that showed all 3 factions of the war. side ways was never placed as a decepticon. and the bio on all the minicons had one error. they did not have the minicon insigna on the classics they only had autobot and decepticon signs on them. it never showed anything of them being on the minicon side

Why waste money to redesign the packaging and branding graphics just for one toy that most people will be perfectly happy to lump into the "bad guys" category? Only hardcore fans would even note the "he's not a Decepticon" nitpick, and we certainly don't need a box to tell us what's what.

I for one don't care if the package labels him a Decepticon - the bio will likely not.
Besides, it reinforces the "Decepticons = Evil" idea.
Unless the packaging IS indeed a mockup and they used the 'con logo as a placeholder. Although I kinda doubt it.

I suspect I'm in the minority here, but I've always felt Armada Unicron was a rather mediocre figure. Aside from the "planet kibble" he pulls off a decent robot, but his alt mode is a complete mess. He looks half-decent from the front, but at every other angle falls apart. He only got a pass when Armada came out, because the fandom had nearly two decades of pent-up desire for the G1 Unicron toy we never got as kids.
On the merits of the mold alone, he's not ghastly, but he's far from being a must-own.

i want one lol...i dont collecet armade...or energon....or even classics for that matter...but i went to a buddies place last summer and he had a unicron and i was like...hey...thats a sweet looking TF.....i want one
so....if the price is right...i might pick him up to throw on the "other tfs" shelf along with depthcharge, tarantulas and the very few animated i might buy lol
