Giga Leo:
I'm not too surprised to hear about there being some QC issues with this batch after the minor problems I was having with Hardhead. I'm guessing this initial release might have some problems like the first wave when they were originally released (i.e Onslaught's faulty siren).

I wish the Wal-Mart by me carried him. They just have 16 shelves full of Deluxe ROTF Wheelie Figures. I own the Grey version but really want that Red one too. Peaugh bought one customized by FrenzyRumble and it is absolutely incredible. If you like this guy, check out that review.

If some of you are sitting on the fence about spending $30 for the proper colors for 'ol Powerglide, you could always refer to the white one as Hot House. Then set up a small display of former Micromasters turned regular bots in Universe. |
Better yet, get the reprolabels set to to properly convert him into Hothouse.
I suspect that color scheme was always intended to be a repaint of Powerglide into Hothouse, given all the micromaster homages in Classics 2.0

does anyonek now any way to fix powerglides arm connectors so they attach to the thrusters and stay there easier?
kylash327:
i really dont understand why they made his clear parts purple like stormcloud and not orange like the first powerglide....really doesnt match.
Terrorcon Blot:
They're actually blue... it just looks purple because of the red it's against.

Presumably so it wouldn't be the same as the previous Powerglide(s), and for cartoon-style blue eyes (even if they light up red)

Besides, one toy with a missing chest piece out of at least five-thousand. You just drew the short straw that comes with buying toys. Sorry. |
Ahhh yes ... Habro has no control over quality control.
"Hey China!"
China:
Yeeeees?
"Make some Transformers!"
China:
Okaaayyyy.
"And we really do not care what our toys look like or if they have defects!"
China:
Yeeeees.

I don't think they attach.
you may have to tighten the screws where the wings connect to the body so it isn't so loose and should ratchet up and stay in place easier.
It's odd that my first powerglide (gray) was tooo tight, my red powerglide is too loose...so, if i buy Stormcloud, he should be juuuuusssst right?
lol
kylash327:
i love how the letters on the wing spell out NA W4Y W3 60 "And away we go!"
ekocher:
well there is no screw there so the glue had to work
Ray Kremer:
I'm on record as saying that I prefered Powerglide in the reasonable white as opposed to a you'll-never-see-a-real-life-plane-painted-this-way red, but since we've got both now, red dude can be Powerglide and I'll repurpose the white one as...

Yes, my thoughts exactly.
mitchsantona:
I own this version and the red version. I thought I'd like the red version better, but the QC on the red version on my fig is so bad, I can't even get him to stay pegged together. I'll go with the white any day.

Yikes! Are you referring to the U.S. re-release, or the Henkei version?

The U.S. Version. I almost sprung for the Henkei one though. I kind of wish I would have. I'll tell you what though, FrenzyRumble did one up that Peaugh did a review on, and that one is by far the nicest Powerglide I've ever seen.
iconscons:
I have all 3 versions. Quality control is pretty similar for each. The new (red) hasbro version has the best ability to peg together, but the differences are very minor. The coloring on the new hasbro version is by far the best.
