Awesome. That was fast!
Autovolt 127:
wopw that';s fast,
swindle and blast off are in the wrong place..i mean who can a tank be a astronaut?
torpedobarb:
damn.. those prices are way up there.. maybe its because I am a noob to collecting the newer lines.. but shouldn't that be closer to around 40.00 usd when released here like the constructicons classics from walmart?
GenZhao:
they have been showing up here in the last week+ also
they were about 40 USD each
I dont like that bruticus so I passed on both... might pick up the superion in the future.. might get a loose bruticus it was realllly cheap

I really have no idea but I think the price at mass retail is severely overpriced, might be a typo error(a serious one)?
meetoblivion:
the constructicons weren't $40 when they were released, it was either $25 or $30. i kind of figured this would happen. we know universe goes away when ROTF comes out, so i guess it'll be a change over.
Edit:
From tformers, showing it was $30
http://tformers.com/article.php?sid=7333 jrxcombinetrain:
They have been released in Taiwan 2 weeks ago, NT$1499(about USD46) for each.

how can a helicopter be an astronaut? just because it can fly doesn't make it any more suitable at space travel than a tank.
anyway, i find Blast Off more interesting now that he's a tank. His G1 personality was that he hated being on his own in space and that he became distant, cold and aloof because of it. Give him an alternate mode where he will always be with the others and think about how it will affect him. A helicopter would work similar too but a tank makes him permanently on the ground.

Robogeek28:
Hopefully this means they'll start showing up at Target soon!
Takara_destron:
Heres hoping they make it to UK retail in some shape or form.
Lucs:
Good find... now take them out of their plastic prisons... do I have to try to persuade you again? Cuz you know how well it worked last time
GAUGE0001:
I want these but if the price is that outragous at Wal-Mart I'm going to protest the living hellout of that store and have a giant bomfire burning many HASBRO products.

That's OK, you probably won't see them at Wal-Mart.
Powersa:
Not bad. These shouldn't be hard to find.
MagnusPrimal:
Is it wrong that I'm starting to look forward to these?
Slegos:
I'de give it 3 weeks until we see these guys in North America, 4 weeks at best..
nerdimus prime:
These figures suck for the most part because the add on hands and feet are crap. The way the limbs form is crap too. Superion is the worst of them all. Devastator was better than these two though I think. I wish someone could market some decent hands and feet for these combiners.

torpedobarb:
What is the usual U.S. release time frame from being released overseas?
are these going to be in the same packaging or the new movie packaging I saw in another thread?
solitudinal:
I reckon it's highly likely this "first batch" will be in the TFU packaging. And then once the movie is released (or weeks/months before) the ROTF packaging should surface at mass retail.
torpedobarb:
I will get them.. I just don't want the movie packaging.. I think that the universe looks much better!
are there any websites where you can pre order it?

Agreed completely, that smirk on Superion's face in the ROTF Packaging just screams "KO" to me
I wouldn't know since they are available at mass retail, but shouldn't the usual HTS and BBTS have them?

Does HTS sell store exclusives (I don't think they do)? I imagine it'll be on Target.com a couple of weeks before they're out in stores...other than that I'd say it's up to eBay and maybe BBTS or something, but I haven't seen pre-orders for any U.S. retailers yet.
solitudinal:
Oh that's right, good point, I forget that they were Target Exclusives in the US. So you're probably right, Target.com ought to have them up soon
Railguard:
Wonderr when they will be released in the US?

They will show up in ROTF packaging as Target exclusives based on what we have seen so far. Maybe early release figures or something.

Wait, what? I thought they were Universe?

You must have missed this from a few weeks back:
Universe Superion in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Packaging - Transformers News
Notice the Target sticker on the package? Evidently they are UNI2.0 outside of the U.S. and ROTF within the U.S. Most likely Target wanted Exclusives in the ROTF line so Hasbro just tossed them into the packaging and called it good. I'd bet that the UNI2.0 stuff released outside of the U.S. was already manufactured before Target got their way and Hasbro had to sell them somewhere so the Aussies and Singapore got them.
Thundershot:
That's kinda stupid. Ah well, at least they're being released SOMEWHERE in official Universe packaging... That means they can be used in the fiction without problems. Then again, I'm sure we'll see Big Daddy and co. in Classics fiction should it return. (and I mean COMICS, not the prose fan-fiction that I simply don't enjoy no matter how "official" it may be)
