I wonder If Sean Long will pick this guy up?
Fosterlager:
I hope somebody from here does. The Blades at Botcon had the marred face and we couldn't see what was planned as far as paint apps.
Grimwing:
^ same deal with with the target two pack guys. That funny orange x was irritating me. But if it deters them from being stolen and sold, hey we lived with it.
I just got cybertron evac, it's a crazy cool mold. The gimmicks work really well and the spinning rotor gear seems to do the job softly to prevent wear and breaking. So I'll be ok owning 3 decos of it. I like the "coastal rescue" font print. It trys to break up the abundant red a bit.
At least its a true candy apple red, and not the stuff that can be mistaken for orange like first strike optimus prime.
just for fun, I'd say from this image the colors do marvel g1 blades justice: http://images.wikia.com/transformers...des-uk125a.jpg
edit: whoa dropshot as well. I just like dropshot for the way it balances out autobots new air forces with a decepticon anti air missle rack. clever choice. But it loses some style points from me for not being a micromaster flak homage.

That Evac mold's getting a lot of love. Blades looks really nice. But so did Evac, and I was less than impressed when I actually got him in my hands.

As nice as these are, and as much as I can understand die-hards wanting their hands on them first, I just don't get the prices these figures go for.
People pay 2-3 (or more) times what a figure will be released for, just to have the pride in knowing they had it first. But, in the end, once the figures are released, you only end up with a loose figure that has no directions and could be incomplete. Sometimes a paint app may be different but if that doesn't happen what's to differentiate this figure from any of thousands?
I'm not knocking the buyers, more power to them. I just don't understand the mindset.

The Dropshot mold is one of the best molds from Cybertron, imo. Just plain cool. I will be getting Dropshot for sure!
Railguard:
Dropshot looks way cool!!! I can't wait for this universe release.

I'm not knocking the buyers, more power to them. I just don't understand the mindset. | The only thing I can think of is that having something first must give the buyer some sort of over-inflated sense of importance. I'm sorry, but even if I have the money to throw around, I can't see the hundreds of dollars just to be able to say "I'm first," when the guy selling is obviously actually the first, and a year from now, you'll just be the guy who paid $300 for a loose toy that everyone else has and it's not even MISB. Of course whenever I bring this up, the first thing they say is "it's my money, I can do with it whatever I want," which is certainly true. However, I certainly must call into question that person's wisdom financially, and I have to admit that I feel like it borders on being immoral to spend that kind of money on a toy when there are people around us who are starving in the streets.
That's just my opinion.

Have we even seen pics of Blades' bot mode yet?
Though despite not having seen him, both he and dropshot will be welcome additions to my ranks. Infact they both already have slots reserved for them in some of my personal subgroups and would work very nicely for their rolls.

Nothing! | Not so much "hiding" as marking/disfiguring to supposedly make it less desirable to test-shot buyers, not to mention making it easier to identify if/when it showed up on Ebay or elsewhere.
I love the idea of making the Evac mold into Blades (way more than making Whirl anyway). Evac is one of the best molds from Cybertron, not to mention one of the best TF helicopter molds well... ever. I always liked Blades too. Just wish this toy had a little more white breaking up all that red. I would hoped for a white head and blue face in robot mode myself, but it's all good really.

love Dropshot. He will make an excellent addition to my little team of Combaticons
Autovolt 127:
I'm getting Dropshot, not sure about Blades though, cause i want Springer.
LoC Soundwave:
Getting Dropshot for sure, even though he looks nothing like his G1 namesake But I love that mold!
