CARRYING a ladder is not the same as being a ladder truck.

It's true that almost every "Fire truck" carries a ladder of some sort, but at this size you're either a DEDICATED aerial truck with a small, stabilized platform on the back for the express purpose of bracing a ladder, or you're a tender -- not both; and since this one is blocky, covered with valves and intakes, and has a sprayer on top, he's definitely NOT a ladder truck. Slapping a huge ladder on him is almost as ridiculous as someone grafting RID Prime's ladder onto Animated Voyager Prime. (Who is ALSO a pumper.) It doesn't fit, it doesn't look right, and it's just plain wrong for the vehicle.

Of course, it all comes down to personal opinion in the end, but I still believe this particular Inferno looks ridiculous with a giant extending ladder on top, and looks twice as bad with one hanging off of his arm or back.

I think the ladders cool, i'd like to get that pertaining it isn't a million dollars. I never even really paid attentiion or knew/cared that there are different fire trucks that are for ladders or not. I just want it cause it makes it more g1 like

Why is the custom ladder for Inferno such an issue? I don't understand why we have to beat ourselves up over realism and 100% accuracy when it's just a damn toy. Yes, it may be modeled after a particular truck, but that doesn't mean there's some written rule where someone can't attach a ladder to it. From what I've seen, it looks pretty good and blends in with the truck. I realize not everyone may feel that way, but at the end of the day, it's just a bunch of nerds bickering over an optional accesory. Arguing for the sake of arguing.

I'd totally be into buying the soundwave tape scout for a third of the cost of this set off of somebody. just give me a PM if you're interested.

You are confusing TF Collectors Club with TFClub.
TFCC=American official hasbro-licensed club, membership costs money and they have exclusives.
TFC=A japanese website, really just a forum. Sometimes they sell (apparently crappy quality) fan-made stuff.
