The Arker has posted some new packaging pics for the upcoming Soundwave San Diego Comic-Con exclusive reissue. We can now get a clear view of the box back and read out his bio:

"Cries and screams are music to my ears."

It is said Soundwave can hear a fly sneeze. Uses anything he hears for blackmail to advance his status. Opportunist. Despised by all other Decepticons. Sensor can detect even lowest energy radio transmissions. Able to read minds by monitoring electrical brain impulses. Acts as readio link for others. Locates and identifies Autobots, then informs Decepticons. Carries a Concussion Blaster gun. Often target of retailiation by his comrades.

Soundwave will be available with Buzzsaw, Laserbeak, Ravage, and Ratbat.

Actually its near impossible for them to reissue the reasl G1 versiob.

Why is that? I don't recall hearing about anything happening to the mold. The TRU reissue is straight from the original mold, so what do you mean?

WRONG! and WRONG!

the TRU reissue was based off the sound blaster mold...holds two casettes not one like the original....

in fact, NO reissue soundwave is from the original soundwave mold....they modified the soundblaster mold a long time ago with an original style door mechanism to make soundwave (aka one door.....that is why all the reissue's tape buttons are just stuck on the body and not built in, the mechanism was redesigned....the true soundwave mold is missing/broken/nonexistance)

(in fact, it is said it was either the microchange or the soundblaster mold used to make the reissue soundwave....can't remember, but the true mold used for soundwave doesn't exist anymore)

Anyone know about the sticker on Ravage? Is it the original tape spool image or the Soundblaster reissue schematic readout?
