Rather than heads, I just want them to make sure the heights will be the same so the sets can be mixed together. I am of course thinking of making sure they would be compatible to do on Nexus Maximus.

Why not both? Or a seperate add-on set of two new heads for any of the Energon combiner scouts?

I think the new head idea for the Scouts is a good thing, except for the issue with actually swapping them. If it isn't easy to swap them, then FP would probably avoid doing it. Really, only the CJ kit is the only thing they released that went as far as modding a figure. I know the modders here would argue that head swapping is hardly a mod, but still. I think FP is taking the route of only releasing stuff that Hasbro would perhaps like to do but doesn't for $$ reasons.
I would buy a Bruticus upgrade kit. And, as soon as I got it I would then demand they release a Nexus upgrade kit too. Cast in clear blue/red

I've been looking forward to Protector for a looong time! Can't wait to get that one. I'm VERY pleased to hear they're working on a Bruticus appendage set too!!! I'll definitely be getting that as well. Now we just need a Devastator set!!

That is only a few of months away. Yay. I will be buying two. One for Henkei Hot Rod and another to repaint into Shattered Glass Rodimus Prime.

They figure out a "trailer" to put on the Classics Seeker mold to make a Classics Star Sabre (the seeker would need a recoloring) and that I'd go for.

I'm wondering how this'll work, almost feel like there'll be a lot of useless stuff laying around, UNLESS they go G1 inspired and use what's left of his trailer for his little battle platform......which makes sense.

yeah guys, stop complaining, it may ruin some christmas's ( maybe a present for someone) but it's not really a loss, just have to wait another 4 to 3 months
which will go really painfully slowly and people u'll complain (darn it) but it was inivetable as we would have seen some photos by now if it was coming out this year (it may make e.c.r formers beyond your wildest imagination longer should he decide to have a rodimus prime) but come on, animated rod prime will soon be out (hopefully UltraPrimal:

First quarter 2010 . . . we could be waiting till MARCH for this Rodimus Protector upgrade. Let's hope this wait might drive the prices of Classics Rodimus down a little bit.

Great news about the appendage. I have the Superion appendage for both Super Link versions and ROTF version (In SL he did have a brother so I like to consider both of them "brothers"). I'm happy with everything I've gotten from FP and I can't wait for the Protector set.

Seeing how there's been no production images but that ONE in vehicle mode, I don't see how entirely. I'm sure some of the parts will be add on pieces to Rodimus' body, but I can't see every piece being so.
