Packaging variant collectors take note! Our own unicronsupreme found two different card design versions of the Universe Robot Heroes Sunstreaker vs. Galvatron set. One version uses a large Autobot symbol, similar to the Movie packaging; the other uses the backlit faction symbols seen on other Universe toys.

unicronsupreme:
I noticed today at TRU that the Sunstreaker vs Galvatron pack comes with two different styles on the card.

The one on the left has got both faction symbols and the one on the right has only got the autobot logo. I looked, but didn't see one with just the con symbol.
dark69:
cool i have not seen this yet
Feralstorm:
Interesting... the packaging appears to be getting a tiny bit closer to the style of the movie packaging.
Orodruin:
Hmm... possibly the ones with just the autobot logo are extra cardbacks from movie basics?

I wouldn't say that

I thought at first that the one with the two symbols was the new one, because I don't pay attention to the robot heros anymore.
Deathx360:
I haven't seen that yet either. I wouldn't be surprised if the Beast Wars packs have the Maximal and Predacon logos. Putting vs. between the logos is a nice touch too.
Drew Eiden:
I mentioned this in the Robot Heroes sightings thread like a month ago
rapid_fire:
maybe Galvatron changed factions
Soundwave84:
Glavatron is the new leader of the autobots!
superquad7:
As long as Hasbro doesn't use red Decepticon faction symbols on TF packages anymore, I'll be happy.

I like Shattered Glass as much as the next guy, but there's no need to have SG faction logos on movie toys.
Drew Eiden:
oh noes! I have been screwed out of a news credit!

Maybe you should take up something like coloring TF comics instead?

Nice find Mr. Unicron, sir. This has gotta be really annoying for MISB completionists, eh?

Everyone knows those are colored by robots. Non-transforming robots. That's what you get relegated to when you can't transform. It's a sad, sad fact.

Yeah, but they're not designed by robots. Oh wait, Hasbro isn't made up of people! I forgot! Hasbro is really Skynet in disguise!

Whatever the case may be, now I know I have someone to be sad with. Hehe, thanks for trying to let me down easy anyways, hehe

It must not be the coolest thing to be a robot that can't transform.

. . . back on topic, I'd hate for this to be a MiSB line I'd be following! I do have to say that I think Robot Heroes continue to be cool though!
Backscatter:
So glad I'm not a varient package collector!
meetoblivion:
Saw this last night at walmart. Saw it on the BW Rattrap/Megatron and Cheetor/Black Arachnia sets. Are those the same wave or a different wave? Funny thing is that I was at the TRU next door and they had the Bot/Con side by side cards, save figures.
Silverwynde:
Living in the same house as a psychotic completist has its perks now and again.
The 'Autobot-versus-Decepticon' packaging is the newer of the two. The lone Autobot symbol was the first, and is reminiscent of the package design of the movie-line toys. They're probably trying to get a bit away from that....at least for the time being. Autobot Hound versus Blitzwing can be found on both styles, as well. We haven't seen the first-series Beast Wars pairs on AvD cardbacks yet, though.
