I don't know about everyone else, but I know I am not trying to use this as a substitute for the original. I have the original (as well as Flash LioConvoy). I want this one because it is sweet. It is something to add to the collection, not to detract from an earlier version. If we worried about that, we would have stopped getting updated versions a long time ago. I like being able to combine truck Prime with beast Prime. It feels like some sort of extension of the Robot Masters story where multiple Primes were pulled into one universe.
And these colors are better than the last one. I really can't wait.

Aaaaaaaah I wish they would stop with the re-paints!!! I mean come on! They have the greatest things ever still to do in the Classics/Universe line, and they are the Headmasters, Targetmasters and Combiners.
I will agree that this figure looks good, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like to see some new good molds instead of constant re-paints of Cybertron Figures

Sadly this Leo Prime will be more affordable than a commissioned custom.
I'll buy this, but what freaks me out is I've owned EVERY version of this mold. Its a shitty mold, but I keep buying it over and over.
Will probably sell universe leo in favor of this one.

If this is the second TFCC toy, (which I really doubt) and they use that mold from Botcon, Then they will have really missed the boat on making some fast money. They would do better giving the fans the opportunity to buy Hooligan and Hellbat versions of the Energon Starscream mold.

Actually, I wonder if this version might not be a kind of stand-in for a Cybertron-mode Lio Convoy, with the original toy the more overtly organic re-formatted Earth form.
There's no reason to say that there aren't at least a few Maximals or Predacons who use 'mechanical' alt modes that still look like beasts - perhaps in honour of G1-era characters like Grimlock or Razorclaw.

Roger that. I'm Not even a beast wars 2 fan. The face looks well painted and will rock pretty well next to Leo Prime on my shelf. but I hope we get a few more nice universe vehicle repaints with remolded heads. (A year ago I would have laughed at the remolded head business myself for has/tak but it seems to be a trend following the movie line. Rock On!)

I have the Robotmasters version of Lio Convoy and have the Classics Legends Leo Prime and bought the Universe Leo Prime, but Why didn't they (the company Hasbro o Takara) made this one on the first place? I too hope its legit, because I'm a huge fan of all the Primes.
