Seeing these pictures makes me really want him. He would have made for a great wide release, imo. Hopefully I'm able to get ahold of one eventually, and for a decent price. Very nice. I'm still on the fence about getting him or trying for the Japanese one (who thematically ties in more nicely with Shattered Glass Prime, since in my mind, this particular Black Convoy / Nemesis Prime is going to be the "Galvatron Prime" of my Shattered Autobots)

Like the fact that his eyes are red, though wish the windows followed suit. If Hasbro's booth is anything like it was last year (and I guess the year before, though I didn't attend that year) then I worry about actually managing to pick him up (still oh so pissed over getting screwed out of Rodimus). The coloring is a bit off for me, but all in all I like it and not having the mold already really do want him. Hopefully I won't have trouble picking him up at the show. panda:

Ugggh. I was looking forward to this, but now it just looks weird without the red windows. Pass for me. It is amazing how one small paint app or colour change can make or break a figure.

The red window version was just a prototype. What turns me off is the different shade on the legs. Doesn't really flow well. I'd still get it if I had the chance though. Nerdling:

....Huh. Did they change the colors from the last time we saw it? For some reason it doesn't look as cool as I remember, and I remember liking both prototypes a lot. Still gonna try to track it down. I think the blue windows is a welcome change. Red windows is nice, but come on....on every Nemesis Prime/Scourge? Anyways, the box is so full of badassery that I feel cooler than Chuck Norris just by looking at it. I hope I can get a hold of two. |
