I think I'm gunna pass on these two
Ravenxl7:
Cool. Blades I'm definetly getting, if only just for my Raven-XL7 kitbash. Dropshot, while oddley colored imo, I might get for another kitbash of mine. Can't wait to see what Hasbro has planned for the Fallen.

Edit: I'm also planning on getting the Springer vs. Ratbat set, so I'll have at least two copies of this mold
Takara_destron:
Is Blades the same mold as the 2-pack Springer thats due out?
PoweredConvoy:
Yes he is.

I like Blades more than Springer, but he would have been so much better had he followed the Legends scheme (with more white and light blue face) like the G1 figure.

Randy
Takara_destron:
I'll probably pass on him then as I'll be getting Springer with Ratbat.
GENOZAUR:
Redwolf is that you?

for those who don't know when it comes to the 80's tv series airwolf

the soviets eventually succeeded in create a twin of airwolf based on the blueprints used to create the one true original airwolf

this twin was called redwolf and had red in place of the white underbelly for the colorscheme

with a bit of modding to the lower legs and tail assembly it would be almost too easy to bash blades up into redwolf

Railguard:
Blades is a pass, Dropshot is a must have.
Bryan.:
Blades is righteous, but I wish they'd passed on the Springer deco of the same mold, especially since he got the Classics treatment through BotCon. Better to burn a redeco on someone who hasn't been shown some love lately.

Dropshot? What a great mold, but I wish they woulda done him in a more military deco.
GENOZAUR:
speaking of botcon classics springer i 'm as shocked as the next guy that they went through with rereleasing the cybertron defense hotshot figure as roadbuster

just my two cents on the matter but if you ask me evac would have made for the better botcon springer figure

there any chance we might see energon bulkhead rereleased as whirl?
GENOZAUR:
please delete this double post
Poho:
it's time to retire Cybertron. nuff said.
Renidragon:
Really likin' the Blades.

Dropshot? Kinda boring for a (in my clearly in-the-minority opinion) kinda boring mold.
butz:
I've been thinking, if they're going to recolor this mold into a Decepticon (instead of an Autobot Micromaster battle patrol or whatever) maybe they should've modelled it after the second generation Decepticon, Mindset? If they ever do a proper Jhiaxus figure, that's where this guy will be- among the ranks of my G2 Decepticons.
Actually, if they were going to repaint an existing mold to homage Micromaster Dropshot, they should've used CDF Hotshot; vehicle mode is closer than CDF Scattorshot, head/crest has a much closer shape, hell even the bot mode looks more like him (particularly the shoulders, like where the front wheels are). Oh well.
artiepants:
hrm, Blades could have had a lot better deco.
so far the Universe Voyager line-up is full of Fail...
