Both look good. I'm considering getting Inferno, but Vector Prime is already on my to-get list (he'll be renamed the Last Autobot ). You can tell that VP here has the same shade of brown that the Jetfire repaint had. The green eyes are slightly odd, but they look good on him.

Inferno is a voyager. That's news to me I thought it was a deluxe.
also it seems to have a alternate peg in robot mode for the water cannon.
which I think is a better focus from hasbro's design team. I always loved the water blaster arm on the show.
The ladder is better suited to a voyager hot zone (hot spot) or not at all.

The new universe figures are so great. I'm buying two of everything to promote its success.

I hav'ent really done such a completely crazy effort purchaseing a set before so wish me luck.

The last autobot vector prime should not be displayed with the cyber key. noted. otherwise awesome.

So with Alpha Trion being the same mold does that mean we will get a lot more of this mold painted different colors. Inferno is a must buy I can not wait to see Grapple.

Sheez. Heavily-photoshopped golden redeco of Vector Prime looks like poop in real life - it's Galaxy Force VP all over again.

What makes you think there will be a Grapple? They only shared the same mold in G1 because the crane was remolded into a ladder.

This Inferno does not have a ladder and is based heavily on a real fire engine.

A Grapple repaint would just be a yellow fire engine which does not suit the character.

Yeah, let us be disappointed by those too!

I've always liked the Vector Prime toys, but with that paint deco and his key inserted...he looks like he's got his pants on Steve Urkel-style in that pic.

Even in the heavily photoshopped picture you could tell it was brown, not gold. I'm probably in the minority on this, but I actually really like his color scheme, thought he would look a bit better withought the key in place.

Edit: Was just looking at the in-package picture of VP, and it looks like the wing pieces will be a little bent. Not a big issue, as I don't have a problem with those pieces, it's just going to be a little frustrating getting those flattened back out.

Did anybody notice how there's always weeks with hardly any news, and then we get hundreds of stock photos, leaked toys and whatnot within a single week?

Well Hasbro has never missed the chance to repaint a mold to make some more money off it. I am assuming but with the added engineering to the Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mold and an easy Red alert with a lightbar which I am sure was part of the removeable engine. I think Hasbro planned an Inferno repaint to Grapple with just a couple changes. Looks to me like the lightbar can be removed and the the watercannon could be replaced with a hook. Again just guessing on my part though.

Wow VP looks like crap I am so glad I got GF Vector Prime. But inferno is just pure love for me.

Inferno's kind of a meh for me. He just looks uninteresting.

Vector Prime however is looking spiffy, even if he has brown instead of gold. The only thing I'm dissapointed with for him is that they lost some of the paint on his head which is what I was liking for the fig. Whatever I will pick seeing as how I missed the initial release.

inferno is looking good and is a definate buy. just wish his thighs were a little bigger to go with his bulky upper body. vector prime is just fugly as hell and is an easy pass.

I could see Inferno being repainted into Grapple if they make him a heavy duty tow truck, the ones that are designed to tow semis and, ironically, firetrucks. Of course, that's kind of stepping on Hoist's toes but I think adding a towing rig would be a less extensive remold than adding an entire crane boom.

Inferno is...dare I say it, HOT! Vector Prime still looks pretty ugly in those colors, however.

man, VP looks absolute garbage now, he really went from 'hot' to 'not'...

Inferno still looks solid if a tad un-inspired. love the headsculpt. for everyone hoping for Grapple, i think it's more likely we end up seeing Hot Zone (Spot) since they went to the touble of securing the name for the Legends figure. an easy, logical redpaint, but HOPEFULLY they planned it with enough forethought to make a hotspot head like they did with Sideswipe...

Edit: i also got to give props to inferno for having the best Fire Truck mode since RiD Prime. E-Inferno was horrid, Cyb Optimus Prime a little to Futuristic (and i never really bought his BFGs as fire fighting equipment). awesome, just not very realistic. and i know they CALL Animated Prime a fire truck, but he's just not...

Inferno certainly looks better with the bumper down. He stops looking like he has a wedgy. Definitely love the figure. Gonna get it the second I see it in front of me.

Vector Prime looks kind of stupid in his first pick from his images section. Maybe it's because the idiots that took the pic left his cyber key in and it conceals the coloring of his chest area. Yay for lots of "pretzel" gold....still probably going to get him though. His alt mode looks really slick.

We need a flashing light mod on Inferno pronto! And Vector Prime needs that poo colour replaced with gold/bronze..

Both are bought, unless I can find Vector Prime on EBay for less than 20 dollars.

Wow. Vector Prime looks.... bland... compared to the pics we saw before. I hope they put "Cybertron Series" on this and not shoehorn him into a Classics character...

That Inferno is looking seriously sweet. I thought about getting the TRU exclusive Red Alert repaint Inferno for my Universe shelf, but I'm keen to wait now...this is the fig I want.

The more I look at Inferno, the more details I find molded into him. I really like the fact that he actually has seats and a steering wheel inside of him. The little sirens underneath the clear plastic lights on his roof are also nice. Would be cool if someone could figure out a way to do a simple light mod on him, but I'm not so sure how easy it would be. From what Hasbro said about him at SDCC, one of the lights is supposed to activate his head reveal. Which now that I think about it, you can actually see his head in alt-mode, upside down in the cab. Kinda reminds me of RID X-Brawn when he has his head where the passenger seat usually goes in alt-mode. Here's hoping this isn't the only new mold Voyager class figure we get in Universe. I'd buy an all-plastic reissue of G1 Soundwave at the Voyager price point if he was either a mass release or Target exclusive. A new mold Voyager Shockwave would be nice too, though I'm not sure what alt-mode they could give him. I'd be happy with either a tank or a jet of some sort.
