Inciteful
Okay I'll bite, why is it that Toyfare has pictures of Sideswipe in the correct transformation with the correct head (assuming another Hasbro stock photo) but yet they send us these photos?
Deadend
The more I look at these pics, the more I keep thinking "Gee hasbro, why don't you show your own people how to transform these things? Or hire people who can?"
Otherwise, can't wait for them. But seriously, these have to be the worst photos from them yet on accuracy. Poor poor Ironhide and Sideswipe. Finally getting classics figs, and they can't even show off their own awesomeness.

Beside Ironhide's legs and weapon, I don't really feel that the rest of the Universe classics are in any way unused models of the movie transformers. Right now I have all of wave 1 deluxes, and 1 ultra class Onslaught (still can't find powerglide damnit). Sunstreaker's transformation and look are very G1 inspired. He and Sideswipe's body asthetic is blocky and G1. Same goes for the other set of twins Bluestreak and Prowl. Octane is very much himself as well..besides the name. I also find the build quality to be pretty good with the exceptions of sunstreakers arms sliding off at the bicepts. But that's an easy slide back on.. There's a little problem of Onslaughts legs not clipping into place too well either..but other than that…I give this line a A+…it's giving me all my favorite characters and era of transformers….The line has great transformations and they look like their G1 selfs. Thats what I'm all about…..
now the scale of the classics line is a different story in my mind sometimes.

G-1 Sideswipe's gun peg is too small for the Universe mold fist, And there's no place to connect the G-1 launcher, although if you have an extra Classics Rodimus Engine blaster it's handle will fit in the holes in the shoulder on the Universe mold.
Seeker
I wonder would the original Sideswipe's weapons work with this version?
Cheebs
In general, Universe 2.0 boxart is my favorite style of all time.
Opticron Primal
oooooookay?
a fan like you

Feralstorm
Where has his Oregon?
raptorclans
Hahahaha… your comment was epic win~ I've always felt that way looking at the new art. It's nice, but the expressions are LOL!
Anyways, got a good laugh looking at those mistransformations… especially Sideswipe. thanks Hasbro XD
JOHNDILLINGA
Not to worry once my Sideswipe gets here in a few days I will post better pics of him… That Pic is laughable
Batman
I don't like these. I want to, but I just feel like I am getting more movie toys, not classics. I love both lines a lot, I just don't like them combined if that makes sense. The newer ones just feel, fragile.
SPLIT LIP
Still, beats all those silly licence plates with the robot's names on them. I never liked those.
HA! That's exactly what I'm doing! Plus with Henkei Ratchet coming out soon… (dunno if I can wait for the Universe one)
Shin Densetsu
HELL YEA, my 84 IDW cast of fully articulated Autobots will be close to completion with these guys!
Obvious Prime
I know.
I think I'm gonna put a reprolabels plate over it.
Razerwire
It's like one of those "Hello My Name is _______" stickers that everyone gets when you go to a meeting/town gathering.
Sportimus
What about his Oregon?
Razerwire
I can't help but call Ironhide "Oregon."
Rodr-Evil
Hahaha Ironhide is misstransformed.
SMOG
Yeah, the lack of cool poses is kind of lame as well.
Something's definitely wrong when the photos of the gray prototype versions are all perfectly transformed and in sweet poses, and then the final "official" product images come out, and it looks like a half-transformed piece of junk that someone just pulled out of a child's toybox.
