very nice! def on my purchase list.
SPLIT LIP:
Nice. Looks like that's TWO Classics 2/Universe figs I'm getting now.

Nubby-jet mode is awesome.
j.a.f.o.:
So often the gray, unpainted prototypes look so much better...

...IMO, Tankor is no exception.
Locke:
I want to like him, and it doesn't look as bad as the original pictures, but I just can't handle the airplane mode. I can't get past the tiny wings.
Cesium Salami:
What the hell's wrong with his left hand!?!

So far, ehh....

Bring on Animated!!!!
Lumpy:
i freaking love him...i think he looks great, and i've always thought his wings look appropriately sized given his real life counterpart...lots of big planes have smaller and smaller wings, so its no big deal to me...this will be the first classic 2.0 i buy...
microclone:
thats my fave classic 2 so far.

It has that slightly odd gen1 triple changer look, i like the fact the hands are just little round bits rather like the space shuttle from bruticus! Unlike many i actually like the little compromises made in each vehicle mode, it adds to the charm, some imperfaction!! i dont know how to explain this but it looks like a 'proper' transformer, i never got that vibe from cybertron for eg.
grock35:
he's prolly going to be the first classics 2.0 that i'm going to get
Deceptigtar:
ugh so is his left hand just blades? im hoping it is a hand with the blades in place but i think it is not. bummer, i hate weapon hands.
Aussie James:
Why have they called him Tankor? Why not Octane?

Because they don't have the rights to Octane anymore?

What're they gonna call him, Elizabeth? C'mon.

G1Wheeljack:
Nice, i can't wait to purchase Octane.

He has hands.
Aussie James:
Ok?! I was just wondering about the name. Thanks for being a condescending prick.
Dinobot Nuva:
Lol, I didn't mean to be a prick dawg. Just a little sarcasm, sorry if it rubbed you the wrong way, my bad
DN
Velcrohead:
What you name it when you get it out of the box is your business.

I'll be getting this one too, but I'm not sure I like the colors...
Optimus Scourge:
Nice. Can't wait to see these guys at retail.
Paradigm-Shift Prime:
As a deluxe, I like the figure overall, but not the 'claw' thing, don't like that at all.
airfox:
Damn... NotOctane looks great!

Can't wait.

Sy-Rein:
Octankor is growing on me. I'm still a little bit dissappointed with him overall but I'll probably still get him. With Animated Blitzwing, I'll finally have updated G1 Triplechangers, awesome!

Yeah. The big freaking sword is removable. Octankor will be the first universe figure I buy. Man, with him, Henkei Astrotrain, and Animated Blitzwing, we'll have most of the decepticon triple changers!

And that was Hasbro's goal to begin with.

I want to see what the final toy design for Blitzwing is - I have my doubts that the one we've seen is final, given that the tank mode has some glaring inaccuracies.

I'm curious just to what extent the G1 colorscheme can be done with the figure.
Robogeek28:
While Octane is the one I'm least excited about, I still plan on getting him.
Feralstorm:
I throw open the floor for name ideas for Tankoctane's melee weapon.

I nominate "Pinking shears of DOOM!"

'kay?
nkelsch:
I am a bit disappointed with the wings but it is a decent try. No worse than astrotrain. I really wish they would have up-sized the mold to make them perfect.
REDLINE:
I think the real issue isn't the scale, but the transformation. Longer wings likely won't fit the truck mode.
BigRC83:
I had my doughs(sp?) but it looks great. No worries here.
justamaze:
Tankor looks sweet. Nice pics thanks for the heads up guys. -Jmaze
alien:
awsome Tankor (Octane)...

They should've made the truck longer then!
jorod74:
His plane mode looks like Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose, and i bet if you threw it, it might fly as far as it did.

the hands are iffy to me, but i am content with somebody making a true triple changer again as opposed to a megatron with 10 modes and thinking 8 were by accident.

as this guy gets more exposure, i will make up my mind.
General Magnus:
He should be a voyager. But still quite nice as a deluxe.
butz:
I don't know why, but for some reason from all the pics we've seen, I love that figure. Flaws and all.
Johnator:
SWEET! Awesome figure.
Renidragon:
I'm excited.

Doesn't ooze awesomeness like Prowl, but I like all three modes, even if they're not perfect. I think all three modes are more believable than Astrotrain's train mode, which was neat, but felt a little "added on." Regardless, though, he certainly looks fun to figure out... Though I think aside from Jetfire and the seekers, maybe Astrotrain, I don't remember, I haven't figured out every step of any Classics just from looking at pictures. I did get the basic jist of some of em, though (Bumblebee and Hot Rod had an extra twist or two I didn't expect, for example).
Dark Magnus:
This is the Classics 2.0 figure I'm least excited about, but he still looks acceptable in my book. I, like many others, wish he had gotten the ultra slot instead of powerglide, but I'm sure he'll be fine next to Astrotrain.
T-money:
His aircraft mode kinda reminds me of Astrotrain. It just doesn't do it for me. I may pick up one or two of these figures, but for the most part I'm pumped for TFA.
Devastattor:
Meh.... I really don't like his truck mode.
Thundercrackah:
He does nothing for me. I'll be skipping him just like I did space choo-choo.
Rodr-Evil:
A must, Octane looks awesome.

Me too. It's weird, but I find myself actually looking more forward to Tankor than I am to Prowl and Sunstreaker and Onslaught. It makes no sense.

(Still looking forward to Powerglide more, though.)
Obvious Prime:
Sorry to BUMP, but I just realized if you close the blade thing, it could make a pretty decent shield.

EDIT: A question, does anyone knoe if the blade is NEEDED for transformation?
Caine:
Definitely on the purchase list.

it forms the top of the tanker portion of the truck mode and the underside of the plane mode
