galvatron has the STUPIDEST chrome use in this line, and that's saying a lot. it's just terrible. the purple is worse too. I love the universe figure's metallic purple.
They photoshopped or changed his neck though. it's longer in their photo than it is on the universe figure. They've also mistransformed his right arm to get more posability out of him. it's not locked down.
Ironhide though, I'm gonna get him. he looks much better. the universe version is just garbage compared to it. I don't even mind the chrome use. it's very tasteful and doesnt distract at all.

Another Henkei Version I am Getting! I Love my Ironhide but the Henkei version just made a great toy EVEN BETTER!
He looks even more cartoon accurate and no more blue face and the chrome looks awesome! I am gonna get this for sure.
Nothing could make me get another Universe Galvatron tho his colors weren't a problem it was the arms falling off easy and the back heavy pack that made him fall over.

i do agree this one looks better, but, i think i'll be just as happy with the tfu ironhide, though i am still going to get henkei ratchet

I just knew they'd use that light purple. They also replaced nearly all the silver with black. Which you can barely even see because of the dark gray. Really bad choice of color there. Also the chrome just doesn't make any sense at all.
Ironhide looks fine, but not really enough of a difference to pay the extra money.

i also preferred the black lower arms to, on the classics, the only part i don't like is the blue, but i can live with it for half the price

Other than Megatron, this is the only other Henkei repaint that's managed to grab my interest in the slightest. I generally prefer Hasbro's versions, but they really f'd things up with the powder blue face & windows. If we can expect the same from Ratchet, then I'll definitely be getting the Henkei version of him too.

Ha, I just caved and pre-ordered Ironhide from TFsource this morning. Now I am really glad that I did. The Henkei version is sooooooo much better than the crap that Hasbro is trying to sell. I have about 5 Henkei figs now and if they keep this up, I might just have to switch over to all Henkei figs (ok, maybe not Galvatron).

Ironhide is pretty cool, but I think that Universe Galvatron is better than the Henkei version. It'd have been neat if they'd done Galvatron in original G1 toy colors (grey and blue); now THAT would have been worth getting.

Galvatron sucks bad, probably the worst henkei to date.
Ironhide is pure win, probably the best henkei along with Megs because it's a big improvement from Hasbro's version.
