exactly
Silent_Magnus:
I was at least expecting something on par with "Theft of the Golden Disk"
which was basically fan-made.(but still official.)
AniProwl:
Well I have something decent as the countdown to Animated Season 3 ensues.

This ones better, why TRUK NOT MUNKY TRUK.

All cartoons? I didn't think this was a concrete rule. Also, this hardly counts as a cartoon, with hope, this is all we'll ever see
Eric:
Well...that was different.
Peanut04:
Well, that was......interesting. I sure hope that wasn't the mature webisodes we were told about awhile back. I'll hold out hope that it gets better, including the voice over. Perhaps if Hasbro wants to keep it inline with the universe toyline, maybe we will see all the characters not released to date shown get a release. I'm looking at you Soundwave.
Switchblade:
Nice to see that someone at Hasbro's six-year-old learned how to play with Flash. Not sure why it was given a place on the website, but the kid who did this is very talented for his or her age.
Brawlastator:
What in God's name was that? I've seen better porn animations on Newgrounds!
... I mean no I haven't.
Chris McFeely:
Man, that was totally the guy who did the doofy fake Prime voice for the Masterpiece Prime soundbox.
B-Fox:
OMG!! The Autobots cut-outs "marching" forward. The close-up of Starscream's misalligned faction symbol. MEGS FACE AT THE END OF THE VIDEO!!!
This is one SWAT Kat background and an appearance from Space Ghost away from being something Williams Street would make.
On the plus side, I expect a humorous TFWIKI entry or reaction JPGs out of this debacle.
Bumblejazz:
That was some of the worst animation I've ever seen.
megatronkicksas:
Mods is this news or no, just curious.
General Tekno:
One of the worst parts about this though, IMO, was the pacing.
Pacing was WAY too fast.
The Asp:
Was there some kind of story in...that thing?
So this isn't meant to sell toys then?
If that's the case what's the point?
It sounded to me that whoever did Optimus's voice was channeling the actor who played he-man in the 80's masters of the universe cartoon, as much as Peter Cullen.
KAGE:
LOL! That was weak LOL!
I'll leave this to my 5 year old sis, she loves TF (well Bumblebee at least).
Kickback:
Almost anything fan-produced was better than this. If this is their idea of doing to G1 Transformers what they're doing for GI Joe with their online webisodes, then count me out. That was ... not impressive. The art looked cool in some instances, but for the most part ... not liking it at all.
Ezilla82:
Well, I just took a glance at it and it looks corny as hell, but it needs work. But I don't know I kinda like it because of it being horrible and yet I like to see more. If you call that weird then..guilty as charged.
ErechOveraker:
It's amazing something made in 2008 actually looks worse than the 1984 cartoon. GG Hasby.
major revolt:
It was pretty cool but the op voice was pretty annoying .
samtastic:
WTF, Yuck, Why, Hell.
Xenon:
That's just plain embarassing, anyone outside of the fandom watching that could be put off Transformers for life.
ZeroMayhem:
Man that was weeeaaak. To call that "animation" is a stretch even for bad Flash.
Prime sounds like the Movie Phone guy with too much "robot" processing on his voice.
Also, I continue to hate yellow on Prime's head!
dark69:
cool! but i would like better...
AnimatedFan:
That...was pretty bad, actually.
Yeah, gonna have to give that a F.

If not, it sure sounds just as goofy.

Probably.

Personally, I think this Prime voice sounds like a bad impersonation of the voice used on the Robot Chicken episode where Prime needs a certain type of exam. The voice on that episode was funny; this one was just . . . not Prime?
I'm really not trying to be either harsh or a "Geewuner", but I've just such an affinity for Peter Cullen's voice as Optimus Prime, that I really can't accept a substitute.
SilverDragon:
Wow. Homestar Runner animates their cartoons for free, and they can do better than still images being jerked around on screen.
Also, pretty bad Cullen impersonation.
a person:
That was terrible. And two minutes long? Why even bother?
shortround:
i was Watching untill my pc shut it self off for some resson

It probably crashed due to the attempt of your system to sustain awful.
Storm:
potential, great, result, disappointing.
you'd have thought by now that big corps would be able to use flash and not make it crap, there are freelancers and even amateurs that have made better. Harvey Birdman and some of the other adult swim cartoons are the only ones i have seen that have made use of flash inhouse and managed to make it look professional.
E. C. R. Former:
That was... disappointing. I cringed at that voiceover: not because it didn't sound anything like Peter Cullen but rather because it sounded so... (dare I say it?) robotic.
OK, maybe I'm so disappointed because this came after the standard set by the absolutely awesome CGI Optimus Prime vs. Megatron clip that came out at the beginning of Universe. this seemed so amateuresque in comparison.
Hiro Prime:
Words fail me...
No they don't, the words Epic Fail works about right for this.
Boy are the Hasbro Team gonna get an earfull at Botcon for this.
neo magnus:
true. awesome movie styled cgi fight
SureShot90:
Meh... no good.
lookinglasself:
That was really bad..
geez.
MetroBoy:
I relinquish my claim to the title of "Keeper of the Cheese" and bestow that honor to whoever made that moldy slice of Velvetta.

Thundercrackah:
Wow, that was an utter waste of time. Rubbish.
Mechafire:
Can I haz cheese?
Seriously, that looked like a friggin Sly Cooper cutscene.

That about sums up this webisode, lol.
encline:
Hmm. That sucked. It would have been great to hear cullen though.
cbff:
That. was. HORRIBLE. At least I had the first Universe take with the CGI remake of Prime and Meg's fight to fall back on and pretend this new one doesn't exist.

Anyone can do better with larger budgets. This is "throw something together to put on the website"
LigerPrime:
I think the animation and episode was designed for a younger age group than us - just like Armada was.
If I were younger, maybe 5-7, I would be hyped up. Heck, it would be great if it induces more kids to buy more TFs, which leads to new product for us!

That fight scene was made for a fighting game.
It was just repurposed for the universe website.
Gordon_4:
Mmmmmmmmm, delicious, chewy and gooey cheese. I won't deny that was awful animation but I got a small chuckle out of it. Looks like something I'd keep on my mobile to watch at work and distract myself with.
Omegax80:
Yeah, didn't like it... and they crash landed on earth during our time? They are trying to change history here....
The only thing good about it is that it looks cartoony enough to get younger and new fans to actually know some history about Transformers.
