The clip is an interesting mixture of the Classics Universe and G1 characters that retells the origin of the Transformers arrival to Earth. i kinda find it funny that they are using megs g1 form yet they can't re-release it because of gun laws

To be pessimistic for a moment.
They went with the old G1 "they have the same robot modes no matter what alt mode they have.".
The mythos isn't exactly offering anything I can't find elsewhere.
Now to be Optimistic.
Pretty cool that they're doing something like this. Who would of thought it was possible?

Weird that most of the characters they use don't have toys at mass retail.

Out of all of those, only one character is available in Universe right now.
Which is Optimus Prime.

Also, I'm not sure which Jazz was pictured there, but it seems as though Hasbro considers Alternators Tracks to be the classics one.

Yeah, ready for all the calls that there should be (or WILL be) a toy available because it appeared in the flash animation.
People mentioned Jazz and Tracks and Ratchet. Apparently we're getting Rumble/Frenzy and Thrust, too (I was tempted to say Soundwave, but the reissue G1 toy is semi-officially Classics, or so they say.)

That was horrible... there wasn't even any sense of consistence in the art style, and Optimus seemed to alternate between his G1 design and his Classics design for no reason at all.
I really hope this was a one-time thing.

I hope that remains a one-off. Seriously even for a 'webisode' the animation (what little there was) was like that Animated War Within someone made only... much worse.

Wow.....that was just plain poor. Though the concept behind it and the audio were good. Animation on the other hand, could us a lot of help. Not saying any animation is ever perfect, but that was far from being decent, at best. Here's hoping that it was an extremely rushed intro to the series.
